haha ;) The cats fans weren't too bad though when I was walking out of the 'G

Still though, Geelong > Collingwood

Pies will win, Geelong did well during the two matches in the h/a, but when push comes to shove, the better team will win on the biggest stage

Sadly, it will be Collingwood.

Lucky ;)

Seriously though, what do you as a Collingwood fan feel your chances are going into the big game on Saturday?

This will no doubt be a great grand final I'm confident we can get the job done :)

We need to put recent weeks behind us when we play this weekend. Forget about the Rd 24 loss, forget about how lucky we were to come away with a win against Hawthorn... and just pray to god that it's a good performance.

From a personal perspective, Geelong are the team I most like to beat and the team I'd hate to lose to the most, by far. Especially living down here, if the Cats get up I won't hear the end of it until next year (and beyond!)

Go the Cats then :p.

Will be watching at the local with the North Shore Tigers contingent. Nice to find a pub in the city that isn't showing the yawnion.

Just found a "100 years of Grand Final Records" collection that Slattery media is producing to commemorate 100 years of record production. Already pre-ordered it.

When do you guys begin daylight saving? Already started here on the eastern island.

Just looking at it now. 6800 pages

I wish I had $350 floating around.

I'm honestly feeling the catters! They've had planty of experience and they certainly know how to win finals. I don't think that's an issue. It appears they match up well on Collingwood and clearly outclassed them last time. The pies will still be exhausted and they've got a few players under a bit of a cloud. Geelong on the other hand had a pretty cruisy win yesterday and the players should be pretty fresh. Geelong have been red hot all finals series now as well, while I just haven't seen Collingwood looking anywhere near as dangerous. Strange things happen in finals and it could easily go either way but my tip: Geelong by 35

Oh yeah, you live in Geelong. Would really suck to be you if the pies do lose :p

Collingwood will win imo. And I'm not just saying that because they beat us. I've maintained all year that I think they'll win. I'm still pretty confident that they will.

Plus, I don't hate them that much, especially compared to the wider population. I have a lot of respect for them. There are much more hate-able sides. The stereotypes that have formed about them and their fans are ridiculous.

Half the reason I hate them is Eddie! Gosh he's an absolute w***er!!! Joffa is an absolute clown as well and back in the day I never had much love for Buckley. Hate the fact they seem to get their own way with everything and as a port supporter, we're massive rivals (especially considering magpies name, black and white, prison bars...). Remember going to the 2003 prelim at the 'G and from what I can remember the fans certainly weren't stereotyped. The place was full of w***ers who knew how to make you feel uncomfortable to say the least

No offence to Gibbsy, Cory, etc. I know that not all Collingwood fans are tossers and from what I can gather on here, you guys seem like good blokes ;):thumbsu:

I've never had any bad experiences with Collingwood fans at games. St.Kilda on the other hand are/were terrible...

I said Pies for the flag last year after seeing them destroy a second-from-top Fremantle at Subi. I still maintain they're the best side in the league at the moment. Very much looking forward to this Grand Final, though. The two most dominant sides in the last five years against each other.

Should be a nice way to round off my last ever week at school, as well.

I don't suppose you know where he works during the week do you. ;)

Haha I don't get it

Btw guys, can you all please refrain from putting any Brownlow talk on here tonight. Dunno about everywhere else but I know that its delayed by about half an hour (I think) over here in Adelaide and who knows by how much in Perth and anywhere else. Would hate to accidentally click here and find the result when its still got 10 minutes to go here :)

He works at the Anchorage helping people who been through tough times rebuild their lives. He was homeless for a large portion of his teenage years. Real clown.

I remember the Freo - Pies game last year. My dad and I were sat in the three-tiery, second level. This member and his wife couldn't make the game, so they gave their tickets to these mentally handicapped blokes.

****ing hell. They wouldn't stop going on about how nice a guy Daisy was and how Joffa was a "very spiritual man" and "deserved to be praised more than the Anzacs". A terrible night was made genuinely perplexing...
