He said on his EPL kit thread that he is 17. I'm pretty sure he would be familiar with a razor.
Comes in handy with the short and curlies.

Surely there can be better discussions to have than body hair and birth of calves. Anyway, what do people read into this?
It's been a full on month, but it all boils down to this very last week! There are still plenty of deals to get done, so let's have a look at the latest updates on each player still yet to find themselves a new home in the trade period;

CAMERON PEDERSON -
Contrary to popular belief that North Melbourne are kicking him out the door, reliable industry sources believe that North Melbourne are trying to convince Cam Pederson to stay at North Melbourne, and that North don't necessarily want to trade the utility player. Pederson struggled for games in 2012, after being a revelation in 2011, however his future remains unclear at this stage, with Melbourne not having a second round pick to offer up to the Roos.

Read "The big scoop" for more information on that one!

KOBY STEVENS -
The dogs and eagles met today to discuss a trade for Stevens whose preferred club is the Western Bulldogs.

The dogs at this stage have offered up pick 51, but the Eagles are demanding pick 44. Only seven selections between each pick, so you would think that the dogs will eventually cave and hand over pick 44 for Stevens.

CRUISE GARTLETT -
Cruise has been linked to both WA clubs, but at this stage, it's unlikely that he'll find himself at either Perth based club in this years trade period. He's likely to find himself a new home in the delisted free agency period, or possibly the draft or rookie draft.

JAMIE CRIPPS -
The Eagles are playing funny buggers with the saints. First they were driving a hard bargin for Mitch Brown, and now it's for Jamie Cripps.

The Eagles today somewhat cheekily offered up their fist round pick, currently pick 41 to St Kilda for Jamie Cripps, knowing that it would anger the Saints, who want a bit more than just pick 41.

The Eagles are playing hard ball, knowing that Cripps has already moved back to Perth, he will walk out on the Saints if a deal cannot be orchestrated and head straight to the draft where the Eagles could pick him up for pick 41 in the draft, that's if their cross-town counterparts Fremantle don't snag him with an earlier pick, despite their lack of interest.

West Coast are more than happy to take the "We'll take him for free" approach, rather than trading with the Saints. The eagles don't have much to offer up in the way of draft picks, and won't budge with Brown, and Stevens is Bulldogs bound.

GEELONG IN GENERAL -
Mitch Brown and Tom Gillies' future's are under threat at the moment, and we are led to believe that their time is up at the Cattery. The cats are looking for a draft picks, rather than a player, given the recruitment of Josh Caddy, Jared Rivers and Hamish McIntosh. The Cats have to make some very big calls ahead of their first list lodgement for 2013 in which the first deadline will be at 2pm next Wednesday.

Geelong are also facing some tough decisions on their rookie list, given they must trade or delist a few who have been on the rookie list now for 3 years. Stringer has been upgraded to the senior list, but the cats must make room on their senior list now, to make way for the standard 3 selections in the National Draft.

It looks as though the unlucky players may be Brown, Gillies and Stephenson.

THE BIG SCOOP -
North Melbourne, Port Adelaide, St Kilda, Melbourne, Gold Coast, Brisbane and Collingwood supporters, read on!

We received a tip off on good authority today about two players likely to find new homes this trade period in BEN JACOBS and TOM HICKEY.

To really get this story across, it need's to be made in detail.

It's a well known fact that Ben Jacobs has some "attitude problems", and that Jacob's soon to be departure is due to poor attitude in his football and towards his team mates and coaches, causing the club to give him the flick, and it's also due to the fact he is home sick and wishes to return back to Victoria.

It's been rumoured again by a strong PA based source that this afternoon that Jacobs had some not very savoury "last words" to say to the club who drafted him 2 years ago, which has now quite understandably ticked off PAFC, in which now they are taking "the best offer approach" for the young defender.

Which is where ST KILDA come into the picture.

The Saints were initially front-runners for his services, and have now somewhat gone cold on TOM HICKEY and instead are quite happy to send pick 25 to PORT ADELAIDE, and possibly their third round pick to secure his services.

It trumps NORTH MELBOURNE'S offer of their first up draft pick in the second round, pick 38.

Given that North Melbourne will not trade LEVI GREENWOOD, and that Port Adelaide are not interested in MATT CAMPBELL anymore, it means North Melbourne are now in quite a conundrum. They want Ben Jacobs, but they are not willing to part ways with their first round pick.

St Kilda met with Port Adelaide this afternoon, and are quite willing to part ways with pick 25 and possibly pick 49 which would be received from Melbourne should the saints accept that pick for FARREN RAY.

GOLD COAST are forcing St Kilda to part ways with pick 13 to secure TOM HICKEY, and will not let go of him for anything less than a first round selection.

ST KILDA are understood to be more interested in BEN JACOBS, rather than Hickey at this stage.

Which is where COLLINGWOOD come into the picture.

After the compensation picks became settled on Friday evening, Collingwood met with the suns late this afternoon (again from good authority) and have tabled pick 21 to the suns for Tom Hickey.

It's ridiculous to think that last week Geoff Walsh from Collingwood said that the pies were "done and dusted" only to then secure Clinton Young as a free agent. He did however say late Friday evening that "Derrick Hine would assess the draft picks over the weekend, and make a call whether or not we are done for this year's trade period."

Interesting to say the least.

It comes as several clubs have made contact with Collingwood over the weekend, enquiring about "what it would take" to secure one of Collingwood's three first round selections in this this years draft.

It seems as though Collingwood are ready to wheel and deal but only if the price is right.

One thing's for sure. DO NOT TRUST COLLINGWOOD!!!! They say they're done, then "Nek Minnit" .....

Back to MELBOURNE FC, the Demons are aware that Cameron Pederson could still be retained by North Melbourne, and thus have turned their attention to St Kilda midfielder, Farren Ray.

The Age have reported that the Demons have offered up pick 49 to the Saints plus Jamie Bennell, which they are considering strongly.

The Saints would be able to use that pick 49 to on trade to Port Adelaide, along with pick 25 to secure Ben Jacobs from the Power.

To put all of the above into perspective.

MELBOURNE, PORT ADELAIDE & ST KILDA

Dees receive Farren Ray
Dees lose pick 49 + Jamie Bennell

Saints receive Ben Jacobs, Jamie Bennell + Pick 49
Saints lose Pick 25, Pick 49 (on traded to Port Adelaide), Farren Ray.

Port receive pick 25
Port lose Ben Jacobs.

MELBOURNE could still secure Cameron Pederson, in a three way deal with Brisbane and North Melbourne however.

The LIONS are willing to part ways with pick 33 for the services of STEFAN MARTIN, in which the Dees would on trade that pick 33 to North Melbourne for CAMERON PEDERSON.

Agin, put simply.

Dees receive pick 33 + Cam Pederson
Dees lose Stefan Martin, Pick 33 (on traded to North)

Lions receive Stefan Martin
Lions lose pick 33

North receive pick 33
North lose Cameron Pederson.

As you can see from the above, Collingwood, St Kilda, North Melbourne, Melbourne, Gold Coast, Port Adelaide and Brisbane are all somewhat directly, however indirectly linked, in order for all above deals to get done.

**Please be aware once again that I've been told his personally by an industry source at an AFL club who wishes to remain annonymus for obvious reasons.**

You can either take this as it is, just a rumour which is like anything until it's confirmed, or rubbish it. Everybody is entitled to their own opinions, but if you're going to abuse us for the above rumours, you will be banned.

Feel free to comment on it, and enjoy some banter and general discussion.

STILL NO NEWS ON -
Still no new news to report on Kurt Tippett or Josh Toy at this stage.

The Tippett saga is dragging out longer than expected, and Josh Toy and Matt Campbell are probably victims of other "bigger fish" who teams want to get out of the way sooner.

I have a bit but far too little.

My peers call me the 'youngest looking 18 year old they know'.

I guess I'll appreciate this trait when I get a bit older.

You and me both. Just replace 18 with 17.

I can deal with it, but it gets a bit frustrating when my two best mates can't go a day without shaving, whilst I can last 3 weeks.

Well call me Einstein.
I honestly thought Andonis was 1997 years old.
