TheDoctor11 I've now seen every episode of Eccleston's, Tennant's and Smith's careers so far. It's hard to say which of them is the best doctor, because they are so different in personality.
Eccleston didn't seem to really fit into the role that well, and I would have liked to have seen more of him. His portrayal had a dark side, and that was actually what sort of hooked me into the new series, but he was also playful and smart. Eccleston was average, but the Ninth Doctor (the character) was, well, fantastic.
The tenth doctor was very upbeat and a little comical. They made me feel good, and I can recall a few times feeling quite happy after watching him. He had fantastic chemistry with Rose. In saying that, he did seem a little one dimensional and didn't quite catch the dark side that the ninth doctor had. Tennant himself was fantastic, but the Tenth Doctor lacked that darkness.
Matt Smith. A very odd person, but a very likeable odd person. They say Colin Baker was a brilliant actor and he played The Doctor incredibly well, but the Sixth Doctor was absolutely atrocious as were the scripts, storyline, setting and everything else about the show at the time. Matt Smith, while a good actor, is very lucky that the scripts, storyline, setting and everything else about the show right now are brilliant. What I love about Smith is the chemistry between him and everybody else on screen. He just seems to get along with everyone. Smith is good, but the Eleventh Doctor is great.
A little disappointed with Moffat though. What was with the fifth series finale? Like, stupid paradox to get out of the pandorica. Crossing his own timeline and stuff. Moffat writes brilliantly sometimes, such as Blink. He did extremely well with the weeping angels and the silence - both playing on fundamentals. With the weeping angels, you can't look away, which is quite a unique characteristic. It also plays on the very childish fear of the dark. The fact that it could send you back in time was very eerie, and I'm not sure whether I'd prefer that or have them snap my neck. The Silence, I think, were absolutely fantastic. Forgetting about them as soon as you look away? Just brilliant.
Billie Piper is cute, Freema Ageyman is pretty and Karen Gillan is hot. I don't find Catherine Tate to be attractive or very likeable, but in saying that, she's a brilliant actress and contrasted with Tennant well.
I've also watched the first season of Torchwood. It's meh. Have you seen it?

We have two moderators of this board - GG and Doc.
I have never seen GG post here since I've joined, so I don't hold anything against him. Just wondering why he is still mod? It's not like this board necessarily needs two mods, particularly if one of them doesn't even use it, and Doc does a fantastic job anyway...

Yeah he does not post your correct very rarely does. For about 6-18 months we had no real laws on here. Lots of shitfight (mostly my fault) the doc does a great job. The doc was a regular poster on here before he came a mod.
The doc was not the only person Who put there hand up for the mod job. Many tipped mero but i think he cbb. Gibbsy was also in with a chance.
Would love to see gibbsy & the doc the 2 mods in the future. No disrespect to doc but if theres 2 now with gg not contributing it would be kool if the one of the most respected & knowledgeable blokes on here get a go one day down the track

I only had three assessments this week and then I'm done forever. I had my Maths exam (which I think I aced) and my English speech which also went well. No exams today so I'm going to swim with sharks with my dad for his birthday and then I have my Business exam tomorrow.

I watched an FA Cup game a couple of months ago between Wembley F.C. and another, like, ninth-tier English football side. The whole romance was that Wembley got this lucrative sponsorship from Budweiser which allowed them to sign all these former legends who are now like 50-55 years old. Claudio Conniglio was one, off the top of my head. A bit of a gimmick but I just loved watching it.
The standard of football was quite obviously pretty poor but the keeper made a couple of great stops. I just love how ESPN sent an entire TV crew and commentary team down there. When the ball came to the closest touch line it was literally a bird's eye view because there was no room for the cameras. So good.
