In my opinion, I think that white boots look much better when you wear coloured/dark socks. I do recall wearing white diadora boots when I played soccer, but I wore Royal Blue socks with them, so it looked fine (Played for West Adelaide) Though my last pair were black when I was playing for my primary school (also blue socks).

White isn't that bad...unless you're wearing these:

Black boots are just way more low-key. Interestingly enough, they're also a bit different, which is funny when white boots were considered showy. Copa Mundials for me, just because the 70s and 80s were the best ever era for sports design (and will probably always be, thanks to sponsorship).

Diadora's are good especially the black pair with fluro green and grey a few afl players are wearing these days.

These are the football boots that I've had. Got both off ebay for less than $50. I got these because I have flat feet and the doctor said to wear asics and because they were cheap. As long as they are good for my feet, I couldn't care less about the colour.
