I don't understand how that's poor form. Not 100% sure the ****** is supposed to be. If it is what I think it is... poor form.

I wear Adidas adipure 11pro's, mainly black with white stripes and a tinge of lime green. Always worn mainly-black boots, except in year 8 when I wore white adidas predators.
My next pair of boots will hopefully be blacked out, as I love the bland look about them. Del Piero wears blacked out boots, and makes them look good!
Hehehe Liverpool dun gudWhat a night of English football!
Especially if you support Spuds, Chelski or Manure. *
*ha ha
I think it's mainly that he took a step up from a word like 'puncey' which is more an adjective which refers to a man with feminine traits, up to one like ***ggot, which is a hateful slur, no real different from the N word, and that definitely comes off as reflective of one's personality.I don't understand how that's poor form.
So if he is saying:
I wear white boots i guess i must be a (homosexual slur).
Then he is saying I'd prefer to wear white boots and let you call me (homosexual slur) because it means more to me that I wear white boots than your opinion of me.
By implication the intent therefore is that he would prefer to align himself to whatever slur the swear filter left out and wear white boots than be one of those who would use that slur and not wear white boots.
So if that word is ****** or ****** or ****** or even ****** then I fail to see how it is poor form to attribute this to your own character.
Surely it's contextual.I think it's mainly that he took a step up from a word like 'puncey' which is more an adjective which refers to a man with feminine traits, up to one like ***ggot, which is a hateful slur, no real different from the N word, and that definitely comes off as reflective of one's personality.
It depends on the severity of the word.Surely it's contextual.
If someone says "I wear white boots, so I must be a whatever", then surely the context is that they either accept that moniker or do not care that someone thinks of them as such.
Either way, if someone says I don't care if you think I'm a whatever, I am going to do what I want, then that can't be a slur on anyone else in that particular group.
If anything, it's allowing ones self to be identified with that group, and therefore accepting.
Using a word is not necessarily a hateful use of the word.
For example, if you say to me "you are a Bogan Skip", you might mean it as offensive, you might not.
If was to say to you "I drink beer, go to Bali for holidays and fancy chicks with tramp stamps, I'm a Bogan Skip", then it diminishes the offensive nature of the insult.
I like transparent boots personally.
Did anyone else see the oh ffs thread that existed for about a minute?

I silently protested by not being involved if that counts for somethingNot pissed that I had to move the posts, more that no one thought to bring the discussion in here where it belonged.
