Ollie Wines didn't accept my friend request. I'm thoroughly disappointed at him.

 Selfish. Think's he's god now he plays AFL  He probably received about 100+ requests so I wouldn't take it to heart mate :thumbsu:

I bet he would if he thought you were a hot chick. Temporally change your name and profile picture (make all other pics private) and then once he accepts, change it back. Hey presto! You have Oliver Wines on Facebook.

Oliver Wines has the biggest baby face ever. And dat jaw. He's like Chesty Bond's little kid.

This is why it's better to not be very good (in relative terms). Oh no! Pick 66! Hawthorn!
I couldn't give a stuff about where I'd be picked.

If I was either picked up at #1 by Port, or #66 by Hawthorn, it really doesn't matter as a number.. It's just that the lower the number the more pressure you are under to perform. Hell, if I was picked at a really high number, I would try as hard as possible at every part of my game in order to give myself the best chance to not only play in the first team, but to perform well in it.

But in saying that, I'd much rather be picked at #66 by Hawthorn than at #1 by Port Adelaide.

I only just picked up on something. Don't you go for Hawthorn? Not Gold Coast?

I said picked alot in that paragraph, haha. #shitatwriting

Hand is one of our 5115 members right now. Though I'd assume he is still a Hawthorn supporter.

I've supported Hawthorn since I was born, but I've been losing interest as a supporter ever since the 2008 flag (a.k.a. best day of my life). The fact we've been so much more competitive since pre- 2007, has made winning so much less satisfying as a supporter. I love the club to bits, but the amount of glory hunters that have jumped on board since then has given me the shits. I understand that with success comes a bigger fan base, which is great for the club itself.. but the attitude shown by BF posters, supporters at matches, the players (particuarly at training)- go to waverley and you'll understand, and even staff members (hai Alistair) is starting to give the club a bad name.

Some will disagree, but Hawthorn just aren't the club they used to be.. in many ways.

I've lost an unbearable amount of passion as a fan.

Yeh dude I'm asking myself the same question: why?

Just because you don't like the attitude of some supporters doesn't mean you should jump off the club entirely does it?

What have the players or Clarko done to make you not want to support the club? I've never noticed anything of the sort. No way is Hawthorn developing a 'bad name' for itself (outside of BF, that is). How is Hawthorn 'not the club it used to be'?

Plus, '08-'12 has easily been the most fun and satisfying period in my Hawthorn supporting lifetime. While the good times are made so much better by experiencing the bad, I don't want the good times to ever end. It's not as satisfying supporting if you're dwelling on the bottom of the ladder for years on end.

There are alot of things that have happened....

And I'm not jumping off the club..... I'm a 2013 member, I'm just not as passionate about the club as I used to be.

I've supported Hawthorn for 18 years, Gold Coast for 3. I just seem to post more on the GC board, hence my 'chosen big footy team'.

At least you have made a clear decision between the two teams, and not holding onto both of them.

Haha you prick.

Call me Andonis, but I'm known by most people I've met in my life as 'the Hawthorn guy'.

The Suns are a new side that I've followed for a short period of time, I can't just choose one or the other.

Hand is not alone in this regard, another Gold Coast poster darkwingduck felt his interest waning once Collingwood went on their recent run of success. Will be interesting to see what happens if and when Gold Coast become more successful.
