Also, I'm just defending my choice in uni. And I basically think it's laughable that a kid who has never gone to uni a day in his life is telling me about what uni is better than what. I was light-hearted until you basically implied that RMIT isn't very prestigious (wrong), that I could've gotten into Melb Uni (possibly, but you are no authority on that), and that Melbourne is better than every other uni at every single course (generalised, false, and a part of the massive myth that there's a sole hierarchy in terms of a uni's worth).
Bad use of meme is bad.

Alright, so you'd be relatively close to Westfield Marion? One clue: Palindrome![]()
> Calls my uni worse than Melbourne Uni and wonders why anyone would want to go thereWhat is your problem? Who gives a crap what uni we go to.
Why does it always end up in a agreument sa?

Yep. I've seen a majority of what Victoria has to offer, and even though it's a great place, I just don't enjoy it when I visit family/friends. I'm still finding out about my new home, Queensland. Once I'm finished Uni I wish to live in London for a couple of years. It's been a life long dream of mine. Thankfully my Dad is British so I can live there as long as I want. You know, work in England, go to Arsenal matches, explore Europe, meet an English lass, etc.But why don't you want to live in Melbourne again? Just bored of the place?
I do know what you mean. Western Australia is a nice place. But the longer I hang around, the more noticeable its negatives become. But I'd never regret being brought up here, I liked where I lived as a kid. And as bad as it sounds, I don't think living in the same town forever is especially healthy: It's probably even regressive, not just stagnating.Yep. To sum it up, I like to stay busy.
The longer I'm away from WA, the more I miss it. I always think of it as the most amazing place. Though I don't think it would live up to my expectations if I was to live there again as all the wonderful memories are from when I was a little kid and I only remember the good things. I have only been there once (2010) since I moved east in 2003. Let me just say, Scarborough ain't what it used to be...I do know what you mean. Western Australia is a nice place. English Study score necessary for English course at Vic Uni: 20
English Study score neccassary for English course at RMIT: 35
There is just literally no argument. You cannot argue this at all. RMIT and even Curtin are more renowned and respected than the highly stigmatised Vic Uni. The numbers show that. Why can't you admit it?
Curtin is also nowhere near as good as RMIT. I would not have changed unis if that was the case.
You just don't even know.
