I also didn't know that Khawaja is 26, I imagined he would have been several years younger than that. Have fun in Byron, I wish I could go down but I'll have to spend my new years in Mooloolaba.Wow, I didn't realise Watson was that old. I thought he was around the 27 mark. If not for injuries, he could have been so much more...
Going with someone's girlfriend to the beach. What's everyone doing for NYE?
From one of your cam hores?
Fair enough, the kid likes hores.
Already stocked up. Haha. You gonna get on the groggski ?
Also, I'm not sold on Nathan Lyon as a test spinner. Doesn't do much at all with the ball, bowls too fast and isn't consistent imo. Give Krejza or Beer another go.
Doherty is way ahead of Krejza, and probably Beer.
Krejza - lol, just lol
Beer - Wouldn't be too against that
But Lyon's 4 years younger than both of them, with a better Test and First class record. He's doing alright, better than having a new spinner every 3 tests like most of the post Warne period.
Well not over Beer at least
12 wickets against India IN India... That made me chuckle as well![]()
The thing is that Beer and Krejza performed well in the few tests that they played each. Fair point you have regarding the new spinner every couple of tests. That went on for far too long. Baggy Greens were being handed out as if they were food samples at Coles. I just feel that they should've pursued with Krejza/Beer rather than Lyon. Age shouldn't be a factor for a spinner.. Just look at Brad Hogg.
Also Hoggy is no ordinary man, and therefore can not be compared to these lightweights.
