I was thinking of boarding at USC in my second year (2014). But it sounds like I'm better off continuing living with my parents. They're fairly well off so they pay for stuff like fuel, rego, phone plan, etc. so I can spend the money I earn on more 'exciting' things.

Having your parents support you in the first year is probably a good idea anyway but you'll get the itch to move out soon enough as I did.

On the moving out of home thing it's all about how dependent you are on your parents at home. If you buy your own fuel, clothes, phone bill etc than I guess the only adjustments are a) not having your parents around and b) having to cook for yourself (may be more of a task for some)

Also, I saw Andy Demetriou at Melbourne Airport today said gday to him he asked me how I was going
