Haha sory to break it 2 ya boys but big muscles doesnt make you a good footballer.
Yeah, but can you remember last year when Carlton was playing Adelaide at Etihad? The clash between Murphy and Dangerfield when they were 100% committed to the ball?

Murphy came off with an injury because Dangerfield had more muscle and Marc basically went into a brick wall. Sure, he's built as well, but not as much as Danger.

So that's where muscle can aid you. Also jostling for position is helped by having a solid body.

In Essendon's case though, it didn't help them one bit.

Hahaha. So if danger had smaller muscles he would have hurt himself?

Having lots of muscle also makes you heavier which makes you slower which makes you more fatigued.

Phillip matera got the key position defender in the 90's/early's he was a stick

New boots, can't wait to wear them in tomorrow at training!
The fact that no one else liked this is a sad indictment. Full of prissies in their plastic orange Nikes. Did the conversation between Mero and I inspire you to grab the Copas?

Most comfortable boots you'll ever wear, anyway. You'll never want to wear another boot again. And they look so cool: totally timeless.

I don't think I have seen that conversation!

They're so, so comfortable. Tried on F50's, Asics and Nikes. All were too flashy looking for me.

Decided to go with the Copa's as they're a classy looking, timeless boot. I've had my time with the more outrageous styles. As I said before, cannot wait for training tomorrow night!

Did you try on the new Predators? Not as good looking as the Copa's but super comfortable.

Kangaroo leather is more comfortable than anything else. Don't all F50s or whatever they're called now have a fair bit of plastic? Copa's are good because they stretch within about ten wears. When you have them for two seasons, the leather's really soft and that's when they get the most comfortable. I used to take my boots off as soon as I could with footy and soccer, but when I had Copas... I'd keep 'em on in the car sometimes.
