Uni really isn't that stressful at all. It's fairly laid back, unless you're doing something like medicine.

I'm at flinders doing biomedical engineering and medical science.

Cultural wasteland, yeah, but ethnically diverse wasteland? Definitely not.

For what it's worth, Footscray isn't nearly as bad as I imagined. It'll go through the same gentrification process that Fitzroy, Collingwood, and Carlton did – and they're suburbs reserved for a few mentally ill or pretty well off people. It's close to the city, right on a train line, gritty... it's a hundred times better than living in the bland outer suburbs with your mum and dad.

No it isn't, uni's are absolute sticklers for referencing and if you get it wrong you WILL lose a fair few marks on your assignments. It is better to know exactly what they want than trying to guess or getting it wrong.

Trust me I did Psychology and with their referencing (APA) you could lose 2-5 marks per reference that you got wrong and for most assignments you were looking at between 10 and 20 references.
