Pfft, don't use her.

Mero's designs have been on TV.
What's she done?

Marcy is the founder, president, and chief strategist with WireMedia Communications, Inc., an award winning communications strategy firm founded in 2002 in New York City. She holds an MFA in design & technology from Parsons School of Design and a BA in political science from U of Wisconsin-Madison. She taught web design and coding for over 7 years at Parsons, has a 2nd degree black belt in taekwondo, and paints in oil in her free time. She lives in Los Angeles with her husband and can often be found on Virgin airlines, heading back to the east coast for a visit.

Pretty impressive imo.

You drive on the wrong side of the road, too. :p
No we drive on the right side, which is the left side and your wrong side, which should be your right side if you were like us.

Do you know of any famous design entrepreneurs?

Over the last few days I've been pretty excited about today (Pi day). Now, you may call my excitement irrational, but I'm here to tell you I can recite the first 50 places of pi in about 7 seconds.

Arrogant and ignorant.
I was joking...

Actually, we DO drive on the right side, haha.

No, sorry mate. Aside from a logo design I've done, I'm not really sure that I can think of anyone else whose name I know that has done a professional club logo or anything like that. Most of the uniform and some logo designs here are done in house in large corporations (Nike, UnderArmour, etc.). And most leagues even have in house design firms as far as I know, like NFL does.

You might want to check Uni Watch. Occasionally Paul does stories on designers and you could probably come up with a good one or two if you go back through some of the posts from the past couple of months or so. Hope that helps. Good luck.

She's better looking than me too.

As for fame, I would say it's relative.
If someone suggests the person you've nominated isn't famous, you could always answer with "seriously? you've never heard of her? Well, I guess that says more about you than it says about her."

Marcy is a good choice if you know something about her.

Personally I'd choose Joe Bosack. He makes sports logos.

I don't normally boast but I just turned 18 and got a MacBook Pro Retina Display for my birthday present, absolutely stoked. For someone into design and graphics, the screen resolution is beautiful.

Enjoy buying alcohol yourself, that's the best thing about turning 18!.
