is that game on now?
whats the score?
Victory 2-1 Wellington

Wellington are a man down. Someone was sent off after tugging on Archie's shirt when he was clear through on goal. Hernandez slotted the penalty.

Victory should be 3-1 up. Archie slotted one but was called offside, even though he wasn't.

nice, I hate when they get pulled down running into goal. It happened a few times in the United games but they only resulted in yellows. stupid everton!

anyway go victory :thumbsu::thumbsu::thumbsu:

Not that anyone really seems to be taking much interest but I've slightly tweaked the title for my Research Project again.

From this:
‘How has the AFL developed to become the number one sporting league in Australia? How is this similar or different to other major sporting leagues?’

To this:
‘How has the AFL developed to become the number one sporting league in Australia? What further development can the league do in Australia and other countries?’

I've also had another thought. After school, I hope to study medicine at uni, focusing on sports injuries. I aspire to be the club doctor or physio of one of the big Victorian clubs one day. My other thought was to do something like 'What has the AFL done to reduce injuries in the competition?'

Thoughts??? Please guys, I need help deciding :confused:

How many of you kids have a day off school today. My boss gave me a day off work :)D) and I've seen quite a few school-aged kids roaming around.

Great win by the Victory. Phoenix got showed that you cannot stand around and wait for Archie to weave his magic. Was a Victory supporter before Wellington started and then I changed, so not mad either way :p. Will probably support Victory again once I move back to Melbourne in a few years time.

And EFH, I'd advise against barracking for NZ teams. Would you support Tasmania against Australia if it seceeded? I think not. So why barrack for Tasmania v2.0?

Here in SA, year 12s have their exams now so it's probably the same over there in Melbourne. I have 2 free lessons in year 11 too so once again there may be some younger kids who don't have to be at school for this reason. Otherwise remember a lot of uni students have a lot of time off from that too. Add in the kids who take gap years, bludge off the dole already or work part-time as an apprentice and there's probably your portion of school-aged kids.

Don't you lucky buggers in Melbourne get a day off for the cup tomorrow too? :(
