I saw the Dream Time logo, but passed that off as the same one that they have every year. However, I did just notice that it says AW15 in the top reight hand corner. Does this mean that Essendon are getting a proper clash/away jumper rather than using the grey heritage jumper.

hahaha really odd.

I couldn't think of one to go with robbie, and I planned 10 essays that night and used that quote in each essay. It just got stick in my head.

So I did it temporarily, then was gonna change it when I thought of something better, but I never did.

Yeah shorts are definitely the hardest part of a template IMO.

Can never whip up a perfect pair.

Essendon in Grey does more to avoid clashing with StKilda than White would. (One of StKilda's colours)
As far as the template,the brief on designing the jumper is:
As per AFL guidelines, the body of the clash guernsey must be lighter than black eg. grey with the traditional red sash still clearly identifiable. The new guernsey design should cover the front and back of the garment and as per the template the scale of the sash should remain the same.

So I've done some homework on Kooga and BLK and found out the following.

Kooga is a division of an English sports retailer JD Sports.
(They also own Canterbury Clothing Company/CCC)

They have been doing business in Australia, under licence to Kooga UK.
This company owns kooga.com.au
So eventually they got in markets where Kooga's name is not recognised, and they began their own brand BLK.
The other difference between Kooga/BLK and the other big apparel manufacturers seems to be their approach to smaller clubs.
Where you virtually find no local clubs that wear Puma, badass, Reebok etc, Kooga/BLK seem to have a model that includes these leagues and teams as well as the big end of town Richmond, Brisbane etc. So you're potentially likely to see Port Melbourne playing Box Hill and both sides in BLK jumpers on Saturday, then go to the MCG that night for Richmond v Footscray and they're in BLK as well.
