It's a transport card that you gotta keep topping up to use public transport, Perth have something similar.

In Sydney their version is Opal, and Canberra have the MyWay.

But the problem is that all the other cities have a backup system that lets you pay for single trips using cash (in the form of cardboard or plastic paper). Purchasable from the bus. Melbourne doesn't.

I had the cash to pay for the fair, I just didn't have a place to top up my card.

I don't know about over east, But at my uni we can top up our cards on campus. Can you not do that?

EDIT: Just realised I can only do that because my smartrider and Uni ID are the same card, this probably isn't the case for you and they are probably separate, Carry on.

This should be interesting. Some (most?) NFL quarterbacks are even bigger than Hayne and, not surprisingly, the article mentions that he'd have to "bulk up" from his current size as a rugby footballer to play anything other than special teams kick returner or wideout.

I had no idea where else to post this, but how do you change the little thing that comes up underneath your username? (IE All Australian, Senior Player, etc etc) to a custom one? Looked all over settings and can't find it. Is it a premium feature?

It's a gold/premium feature. Otherwise, it changes based on post count from memory. Would love to get a list of what changes when exactly though

Wings aren't actually good, even the club doesn't want to use them full time. Port's jumper is clearly the best in the league.

Thanks guys Ive been lurking around here and the Port board a bit lately (read almost every page of the 200 and something of the Paddy Ryder to Port thread before the trad was done) Tried to design something last night for the What If Melbourne/Fitzroy comp but it seems like Ive fallen even further behind in terms of think outside the square and putting together a pro design. I was looking forward to that comp as well when it was suggested on the comps thread. Might have another go at it, I had something half finished for the original MOTW, Ill see if i can expand on that a bit

Aussie Rules footballers are starting to make an impact here in NCAA (gridiron) football. Cameron Johnston has been a very welcome addition to THE Ohio State University Buckeyes. Scott Harding has been impressive because he not only punts but also returns kicks and plays wideout for Hawai'i Warriors. Looks like Aussie punters will be a common as the American ruckmen in AFL some day!
