I seem to be the only person I know who is interested on the US tv series, Fringe. I usually miss out in that manner. I miss the start or some other thing happens, so I tend not to follow it. But from it's first airing - which I found by chance - I've been hooked.

How many times have the Kiwis said that? And more to the point, how many times havve the kiwis won after saying that?

I'm doing the NZ cricket fan's mandatory pre season talk-up. Come the South African series I'll be ranting about how shit we are and how the team needs to be overhauled ;).

is there any way you can get photoshop or paint shop pro for free ?? or even paint.net

Of course there is, but it's illegal ;) Can be pretty dodgy with viruses and trojans and stuff too I think but the risk is yours...

Would Benny be able to get the student version?

I'm pretty sure that's only 200 bucks. A friend of a friend bought two copies (he's a student) and he's giving me the other one for 150 and lunch. Score :D

Yep, pretty sure that's right Eagles.

A FIFA 12 query here.

I've been playing FIFA since '97 on my PC. World Cup '98 was my first console FIFA, and still to this day, probably my favourite (along with FIFA 06). I've been heavily investing time into Manager mode since the 2006 instalment, and I still find the Xbox (original) career modes to be the best. They hold this longevity that the newer titles simply don't seem to.

Anyway, I've got '12. I'm changing things up a bit and playing the Career Mode with a single footballer. I had a good season for Melbourne Heart. Although we finished second from bottom, I went from a 67 to a 71 - and was the only player to actually score for the Heart.... all season! At seasons end I had offers. Barca, Bayern Munich, Celtic, some A-League franchises, and Everton. I chose the latter - a nice mid table club with promise of first XI football.

Yet I've finished my first season with the Toffees, my second season as a player. And I am so bored.

I've tried manager mode with West Brom, Norwich, Coventry, and Oxford. I played a maximum of three seasons with each. Yet I was bored.

So, what's a good club to manage? How do you get longevity out of FIFA 12's Career Mode (as a manager)? What's a nice club to join? What are the perfect difficulties? Etc.

If you want anything to invest in mate it's Ultimate Team. The longevity there is amazing, I absolutely love it. I have barely had time to play Manager Mode on 12 with UT there. It's like SuperCoach but ten times better.

As for favourite FIFA's, mine would be '05 on PC, '09 on Wii, '10 WC on PS3 and '12 on PS3.
My first FIFA was '98 on PC and I've been playing ever since. :)

You tried to sway me on facebook. I tried it, but it just isn't my thing. The kits irk me the most.

It's called a serial or Oxford comma.
Either with or without it, the sentence is grammatically correct.
Like the Colbert episode with Vampire Weekend. "You guys once asked, "who gives a **** about an Oxford comma?". Well, Vampire Weekend, I do".

I always use the Oxford comma. It's great. In fact, it annoys me when people say "red, white and blue", instead of "red, white, and blue".
