I don't mean random people on the bus lmao
I've had a few, erm... Interesting characters approach me on the train on a number of occassions. I've found the old 'fake phone call' does the trick when I forget my earphones.

But other than that the music and stare combo is great if that one douchebag you hate gets on the bus/train and you don't want to even notice them.

Is it just me, or does the Bigfooty bookmarks logo constantly change? Sometimes it's a white box with 'Bigfooty' text, sometimes its just the football. Makes it more of a chore then it has to be for me to find it on my bookmarks bar.
I know this is like 4 pages old now but the term you're looking for is 'favicon'. It's the little icon that websites display next to their URL and for bookmarks and shit.

All this talk about phones, streaming and internet data, while I'm sitting here with my basic bitch Nokia something and large CD and vinyl collection.

Physical copies ftw.

I used to buy all of my music. I have a box with probably 300 cds in it, all from my teenage years.

Over the last 18 months or so, though, I've started downloading music from artists who have already made it. I don't think Neil Young is going to mind me not paying for an album he released 40 years ago, especially when I'm paying $100 to see him live. I hate the idea of illegally downloading local bands music though, because they need all of the help they can get.

My old iPod Classic is probably three quarters full now.

On the phone front, I'm blaming Lollipop for smashing the **** out of my phone screen. Slowly getting used to it, though.

I just download all of my music from Youtube using an app on my mac, which puts it straight on iTunes. My iTunes is really quick so I'm not sure why it gets such a bum rap on here.

I mostly listen to music in the car so I put whatever I download on a USB and plug it straight in. I take it out about once a week and update it.

Mac iTunes is probably good, but windows iTunes is slow as hell. Its just a shit piece of software overall though. The fact that it's 2015 and this piece of software does by and large the same thing it did when it was released in 2001 is a bit silly. Should at least have support to sync wireless from the program to your device. I found it very cumbersome to user when I had an iPhone. It may have improved, I havent touched anything apple related in ages.

downloading singles
downloading yt shit tier quality audio

Why would you download a full album/mixtape if there's tracks you don't like? Would rather not fill up my library with songs I'm just going to skip. There's nothing wrong with YouTube quality - sounds fine and there's no difference between that and a torrent, except for the fact that it's quicker. Must just be shit songs that sound worse on YouTube.

As an audio engineer I can tell you that it depends on the individual files, YouTube can provide as good quality as downloaded MP3s (as that is what the encoded the audio into anyway) or even streams (again, using MP3 encoding) if the upload is of high quality and you download the highest available quality stream (i.e. as close to 4K or 1080 as possible for YouTube). However, none will provide as good quality as a CD quality, uncompressed PCM encoded wave file. Although, it's quite hard to tell the difference between an uncompressed WAV rip of a CD and an MP3 copy of a song even at as low as 192kbps. At 320kbps it's *almost* indistinguishable.

I dunno logic would dictate that if you like the artist, you'd want to listen to more of their songs.

And there is a difference between a 320k mp3 torrent/rar/whatever than a YT rip

Come on m8 you're using anything above the standard pair of 20 buck earbuds then the difference between 192 and a lossless rip is easily noticable.

I'm siding with Dylan on all of this.
