I may be a little bias but far out it's frustrating. I never used to read much into the whole NSW players getting first priority for national selection theory but I'm starting to believe it.

Definitely agree with you on the first one, I mean Cowan made 145 against the same attack he should be facing next week. I definitely don't like the look of Warner and Hughes opening. I would rather have Cowan, someone who is contempt on knocking around singles and occupying the crease, then Warner (who in my opinion is only a One-Day/T20 batsmen at this stage)

I very much disagree on you about Hilfenhaus. Trent Copeland, who bowled with an economy rate of 2.10 on sub-continent roads, is the better option as a tie-down-one-end bowler. I believe CA should have gone with Copeland to bowl with Cutting/Pattinson and Siddle.

The other issue is that we have no real all-rounder/5th bowler. Clarke and Hussey will have more bowling then usual which is not great considering the inexperience of our pace attack.

In my ideal world, the selectors would've gone with :

1. P.Hughes
2. E.Cowan
3. U.Khawaja
4. R.Ponting
5. M.Clarke (c)
6. M.Hussey (vc)
7. M.Wade (wk)
8. J.Pattinson
9. P.Siddle
10. T.Copeland
11. N.Lyon

Even in theory that wouldn't work as there are three Victorians in that team. (maybe we can argue that Wade was born in Tassie)

Instead we get Brad Haddin as Vice-Captain. The bloke wouldn't get a game for any other test nation and he is our Vice-Captain for this game!! Utter ludicrous. I used to believe that Tim Paine was a sure replacement for Haddin but due to his recent run with injuries and Wades improvement with the gloves and bat, I would now take him slightly above Paine. (Wade's also younger)

If Mitchell Starc is selected it will once and for-all confirm the bias towards NSW players conspiracy.

I thought CA had turned, obviously not. The only thing that can cap this off is if Mitchell Johnson gets his spot back for the second test.

I still believe Paine deserves the spot before Wade if he's fully fit, which he should be soon seeing as though he has resumed training. And I'm not a fan of Brad Haddin as VC, Hussey would be a much better option imo.

Hilfy also loves the Gabba. Was Man of the Match at the last test held there.

Yeah your right actually, we'll just have to see how the rest of the Aus A v New Zealand game goes because at this stage, Pattinson's 4 fa has him just in front.
Having said that Cutting will know the pitch better. It's really just who you prefer when it comes to picking Pattinson or Cutting.

Have you saved as a PNG or is it still a Photoshop file? You can't upload Photoshop files.
