Unless you have like 6 people, it's pretty hard to do a draft in one night.

In the league i'm in with my friends, we open the draft when everyone is free then leave it open until it's done, which is usually a couple of weeks later.

I like the idea, it would take a lot of work to organize. And there are many ways to go about this.
