Is anyone else getting a bit sick of the 'millennium' AFL logo by the way, with it's cheesy little upside down goalpost-come-stitching, or is it just me?

Logo got a run of about 15 odd years. Mid 70's to 1989

The afl shield 1990-1999

The afl oval 2000- mabye a change in next 5-10 years, hopefully

Being an Adelaide fan, I would have picked you bouncing your mullet up and down to Dr.Feelgood by Motley Crue. Doctor Who is better than that . Not that I watch it.

When seated at a snobby cafe with my snobby berry frappe and my snobby eggs benedict this morning, I was asked if I wanted to go the union quarter final as Dad was given two tickets to the game in the corporate section by the IRB. For the third time this rugby world cup, I said my brother should go instead (because of my dislike for the All Blacks and the shithole that is Eden Park, not to mention not understanding any of union's rules...). I am a saint, canonize me.

Anyone watch the great race today? Missed the laps 5-89 because of football (kicked a few in seniors, so worth it) and didn't miss another as it was such a great race. Shame Murphy faded but Tander really held his nerve come the last 3 laps.

As for Bathurst, I saw a bit of it, then flicked over to the SANFL Grand Final. Great game, Centrals lost by 3

Nup, I love it! Clean, simple, basic and represents what the league is about. Still modern enough too whereas I think a return to the shield (or something similar) would look really dated now. The thing I really hated about the old shield was that it only had an 'A' which was really ugly and hard to read too

Great game Good to see someone finally knock off Centrals again (especially by less than a goal)! For those who don't know, they are the 'Collingwood of the SANFL' - they're feral and everyone hates them.
On the topic of guernseys though, WWT have had a bit of trouble since the merge but I love their current one. Looks really nice and clean, a lot like I think an Adelaide clash should be.

It is from 2000 - that was Ben Harrison's final year at Richmond before he got traded to the Western Bulldogs.

The SANFL granny was on? Bugger. Miss following all the state leagues as they don't get a minute of coverage here. AFL and that's it for Australian Rules.

As an Essendon supporter trade week is generally uneventful and I'm waiting for another "Cale Hooker for Sam Mitchell" like rumour to be started on Bomberblitz or the Essendon board.....

EDIT: Just had some American guy from Save the Children come doorknocking. Answering the door in my newly arrived Bombers jumper, he goes "oh dear" and states how he supports the Dockers after living 5 years in Perth. We strike up a conversation on football for 20 minutes and then he finally gets to the donations part. I give him $20 and send him on his way .

Absolutely nothing there, such a depressing sight Was hoping that they would have brought the prices of things down a bit again from last time I went there but no, not really. Only one port guernsey left there and only a few crows guernseys too. Was hoping to finally get that Hawthorn home I've been looking for really cheap but still $100 for an S. Will have to keep my eyes peeled for a cheap one on ebay...
