@EFH - I'm hopefully going for the last session tomorrow (well, thats if we haven't bowled them out already) - just found out the 102 goes straight from UWA to the WACA, looking forward to taking full advantage of this soon :thumbsu:
The pitch looked green as on the tv on tues, sounds as though it's turned on its head?

hopefully it's all over by the last session, and yeah, it was like it was a totally different pitch!

Re: New jumpers for 2012

Yeah, I thought that aswell. I'm happy with it nonetheless.
At least it's not this:

Re: New jumpers for 2012

Kimbra's a pretty bloody good looking bird considering she's from Hamilton too :thumbsu:.

Good song indeed. Usually I'd stick to Alternative or Indie but that's some pop I can listen to.

You mentioned Kimbra songs being stuck in your head, Doc? That "Settle Down" one is bloody catchy. And for someone who listens to a lot of rock, alternative and indie thats a bloody big admission :D.

Just got told "yes" by my lady friend for dinner tomorrow night. Might have to drive my way to friggin Greenlane. Should I go top class or La Porchetta :p?

I listen to alot of different music :p Over the last week or so it's been Kimbra, Ok Go, Gotye and the Wombats. I have very diverse tastes :D

For fans of Somebody I Used To Know, here's another Gotye song, Hearts a Mess.

Lol SA was waiting for you to chime in. Two Door Cinema Club are great for chilled listening. Sure a lot of their songs sound the same, but thats why they're all so catchy. That alternative/indie genre and hip hop/rap are the two types of music I listen to.

Elliott Smith's music is absolutely amazing. Go listen to it now.

I'm also a big fan of Eels, top notch stuff. And have been getting into some Built to Spill lately.

Because I'm the indiest cindy of all time, I was into Two Door Cinema Club before they even released their first single/EP. A guy I knew from the Foals forum had a really sketchy demo that he sent to me... this was at least two, three years ago. Pretty crazy to see how big they've gotten.

I can't get into Elliot Smith. I'd like to, and I've tried, but it isn't my forte. Nonetheless, the circumstances of his life and death are really, really saddening.

There has to be at least one hardcore Radiohead fan around here, surely? We're everywhere.

What are your guys favourite music videos???

Most of the Foo Fighters' videos are great.

Ok Go also deserve a mention for Here It Goes Again, and these:

Fair enough.

I consider myself a huge Elliott fan.I know pretty much everything about the man. And what you said about his death is really true. Visiting the his Figure 8 Memorial in LA earlier in the year was probably one of the saddest, most fulfilling, and best experiences of my life. And the circumstances of his death are really tragic.

I could talk about this for hours, but I'll stop now...

****ing great song. :thumbsu:

I seen it on Rage a few weeks back.

But all I listen to mainly are the Beatles, Green Day, Simple Plan, Rise Against and Matchbox 20.

I don't mind San Cisco. It can sound pretty middle-of-the-road indie at times, but it's not so bad. Just a little forgettable if anything.
