Haha I don't do it myself, just letting him know I guess :o Often you can just download the trial and find a generic code to unlock it on the net. But anyway, I shouldn't be promoting this...

You don't, that's the thing. Even if you did, it would just say "trial expired". It's meant to be a one-use thing.
 
Gibbsy, is the student version a thing endorsed by your school??
Would've killed for a Creative Suite in high school, parents told me to wait for uni :(

Sure enough, we get 80% off with student and teacher, and everything i need for architecture (bar CAD and 3d modelling - which are free for us)... but the kids who did graphic design, photography etc at school are streets ahead in know-how.

AutoCAD is amaze; might try making a jumper using it for shigs :p

...DAMN! Okay, might get it early next year then, a month before I start school. The laptops for the yr 9's didn't come first day of school, so I might be waiting. :(
 
Can kids exist without computers.
If only I had such luxuries in the last century.

Back in school I was designing jumpers on good old pen and paper (occasionally with the help of coloured pencils)

I no longer carry textbooks or writing books around school anymore. Everything is done on my Mac.

The only subject where I use pen and paper is in Maths, although the actual textbook is a .pdf on my Mac.
