Nothing eventful for the New Year so far for me.
My workplace is closed for the next two weeks so I have an enforced holiday.

Last night I had a go of a new board game I bought, "The Logo Board Game". It's great fun, amazing how much about advertising and branding we all know about

Tonight I'm off to the Renegades v Sixers game. Hot days are rotten but they lead into great evenings. Last couple of Januarys (Januaries? Nah, looks wrong) I've been to T20 matches at the MCG and the temperature's dropped from 18 degrees at 7pm to 15 or 14 by game's end...

I saw that at the shops a few days ago and it looked really good, do you recommend it? I love logo design (check out "Brand New" all the time, best website for corporate logo overhauls) and also advertising (massive Gruen Transfer watcher).

I was actually having a go at a few of those "guess the logo" quizzes on Sporcle yesterday. They're all American, so there's a few I can't get, but most of them are recognsiable.

You'll be pleased to know that EFH is at that game. Gibbsy do not get the logo game, my little sister got it for christmas and if you are a fan of Gruen Transfer and that sort of stuff like me you will just get every question right. Not that it's a bad thing

It's a fun game but if you're after logo design, the game doesn't have it. If you want something which is good for a laugh when having drinks with friends, definitely worth it

Yeah Sporcle is great, wouldn't have found it if it wasn't for the random chat thread. Some of the quizzes are really hard core.

A few years back I came across a quiz format which featured the alphabet, but using bits of logos. Half a minute of Googling reveals:

Just finished watching Biffs, Bumps and Brawlers 2 one of the clips was Fitzroy vs Footscray. Fitzroy were wearing yellow shorts and Footscray were wearing red shorts. The Footscray jumper looked like the one the used in the 80s and 90s before they added the Bulldog.

Does anyone on here know if this was a regular occurrence or just a odd one off for the game in the clip?
