Seriously hating Adelaide's logo. So I've tried improving it, well, as best as I can.
I've gone for a whole body approach to the bird, getting inspiration from the magpie in Collingwood's logo. This is all done with curved lines, straight lines and text, and footyjumpers.com for the birdhead. SO basically freehand in MS Paint.
I added the "A" there because of the legs. Cannot do legs, so, it's blocking my shitty attempt at them...

What do you think guys???

Yeah, I was thinking something along the lines of Slytherin or a basilisk.

EDIT: It reminds me too much of Collingwood's logo.

Speaking of logos... what does everyone think of the leaked Brooklyn Nets logo/merchandise?

Nets are moving to Brooklyn in a matter of days, logo was first leaked by a guy working in the under construction Barclays Center about a week ago and yesterday the merchandise was shipped into Adidas stores throughout New York.

Currently the Nets website has only the silhouette on its entry page.

I think it was Jay-Z's idea... he is a joint owner of the team and grew up in Brooklyn.

Agree that it's plain and boring. It looks like they've tried to go for a retro design, but it just comes across as a stock standard logo. Like something on a cheap knockoff t-shirt at Kmart.
