Spent the day in Sydney being part of the smallest AFL crowd I can recall, just over 7000. Plenty of Tiger fans up there for the game, though. And it pissed down all day.

Watching it on tv it looked like nobody was at the game. Did the tigers outnumber the giants fans? Whats the facilities like at the ground?

The way the holding the ball decisions are being paid is really pissing me off.

Doughty getting pinged for holding the ball after being tackled straight after he grabbed the ball.

And Dangerfield gets pinged consistently because he's the only one who really wants the footy.

Main problem was that the front rows were empty as they weren't under cover and people didn't want to sit in the rain. Thought the Tigers fans might have outnumbered the Giants - wasn't the case but it could have been 50:50!

Ground facilities are great. It's a true boutique stadium, it's like Kardinia Park or Princes Park but even better. That's its legacy from being the baseball and softball venue for the 2000 Olympics. There's a Subway in the main stand too.

Yeah it happened in Rich v Freo and GWS v Rich too. They're waiting to pull a crap decision out, rather than just calling "dead ball" and bouncing it.

Worst decision in GWS v Rich: before the 2nd quarter siren, Jake Batchelor's nudging his opponent, as all defenders do in the name of gamesmanship... and the umpire pays a free kick against him! GWS gifted a goal. From an under-10s ruling!
