I never wear gear from teams I don't support whatsoever. I wear gear from teams I have a passing interest in (such as Queensland Reds or Celtic FC) because I still have some support for them, however minimal it may be. However, I never wear gear from teams I do not support whatsoever or teams I have no idea about. I have an Man Utd, LA Galaxy and Italy football shirt at home (given as presents) and I've never worn any of those shirts, not even once. I've never paid a single for merchandise for teams I do not support and never get the people that do.

Wearing sports stuff is a dodgy fashion statement so I don't get anyone who would wear it for that reason. If I wanted to wear something as "fashion" I'd wear a Ralph Lauren t-shirt or whatever the big brand is these days. And the people who wear it because it's "comfy", I don't get why they can't just a $5 shirt from Best and Less or Kmart, as it saves a lot of money. I don't get the need to spend hundreds on a shirt from a team you don't support for "comfort" or "fashion". The collection reason I can sort of understand though.

I only wear gear from teams I don't support if I get paid to do so or if I lose a bet.

Well the very fact you think Best and Less is okay and Ralph Lauren is cool is probably an indictment on your 'look.'

Wearing a footy jumper out, unless specified or necessary, is lame.

But a soccer shirt, when plain, can be a pretty cool look. I'm sure, no I know, Gibbsy agrees. It's actually a pretty popular look, and the Tailored by Umbro range is pretty popular. It's not like those bogans who wear NBA or NFL shirts with a pair of jeans to a bar...

And I only really buy clothes that are around the $100 mark. I'd sooner pay for quality, a good fit, and good design, than something naff. Why should a good looking soccer shirt be less worthy of an equally cool button-up?

I would really like to know how you dress. Bootcut jeans?

I wear these everywhere and have a different colour for every day of the week but I also wear the matching Adidas bum bag and that's where I store the bills from the sales I make:

Yeah, I don't mean that at all. How open minded you must be.

Is the drummer from Vampire Weekend a chav or a bogan for consistently wearing retro Spurs shirts? I think not.

I wear my Tigers jersey everywhere, so eat it.

You've completely missed the point of my previous post if you think that that I think Ralph Lauren is cool.

A $5 shirt/hoodie from Best and Less is about as comfy as most sports teams shirts/jumpers etc.

I never said Ralph Lauren is "cool" but said it's a better "fashion statement" than most sporting gear.

This I agree, hence why I only do it when I am going to the footy or shooting hoops (comfort). If I didn't support an AFL or basketball team I'd just wear an ordinary singlet if I am shooting basketball hoops.

This I actually agree with too, but I don't get the point of paying $140 to wear a shirt of a team you don't support. I've worn the Everton 11/12 home shirt out, not because it looks good, but to show what team I support, which is the entire purpose of wearing stuff with sporting teams on it. The Liverpool 11/12 away jersey is a really nice looking shirt (minus the LFC badge), but I'd never wear that because I don't support them and never will.

I am not fussed about what I wear (as long as it's not sports gear from teams I don't go for), hence a $5 shirt from Best and Less or Kmart suffices. The reason why I pay more to get gear from sports teams I go for is to show people that I go for that team.

(I'm sure my family is Irish somewhere down the line, most of us white Australians do. And my surname originated as "pigsty cleaner" in Dutch... that's it).
Hello Mr. Varkensstalschoonmaakster O_o

My surname doesn't sound Dutch at all. It's an English synonym for frontward, advance, or future. Also, one third of a footy ground.
Mr. Forward 50 o_O
