I use to hate it (about 5-6 years ago), then I really got into it. I've never played for club though. Lately, me and my mates have been playing 5 innings test matches on a large netball court nearby which has a fence around it. Funny thing is, there's a cricket pitch right next to it but none of us can be f**ked chasing the ball. each innings usually only goes for about 20 minutes as it's only 4 a side. It's great fun as long as it's not in the middle of the day when it's 30+ degrees.

...a six...
That's a cricket joke right?
It actually wasn't.

Me and my mates occasionally did the same thing early last year... where abouts is the fenced netball court you're talking about?

Cricket is one of those sports that you have to truly have to understand to like, an acquired taste.

I used to hate it as a kid but I absolutely love cricket, although I don't have the time to follow it as much as I used to.

What's to understand? some bloke throws a ball at a bloke with a bat who tries to hit the ball and then runs up down a tiny 'pitch'.

Not exactly a thinkings man game.

It wouldn't be the same one. Ever been to Bribie Island?
