Psh, Vics. There's a difference between hot days and nice days. This is just one of those repressive ones where it's not even worth going outside (plus, we haven't hit the 3/4ish pm peak). A nice day is 26-30ish with little wind.

Hate the beach especially when it's hot. There's shitloads of people, you get sand everywhere and you have to put a towel down over the car seat for the trip home. Give me a pool over the beach any day

I miss the childhood days of summer, when my parents would place in one of those inflatable pools in the backyard.

I miss having a backyard. And a verandah. Today, I'll settle for the bathtub.

Hate the beach especially when it's hot. There's shitloads of people, you get sand everywhere and you have to put a towel down over the car seat for the trip home. Give me a pool over the beach any day

Are you a pom? Complaining about sand? I guess the water is too wet as well.

The beach is pointless when it's 35+ degrees. By the time you get out, you're hot and sticky again. The best time to go is about 10 in the morning and 4 in the afternoon (this is all WA time). I'd love a swim but it's not going to happen for another 11 months, which sucks a bit.

Plus Victorian beaches are awful, especially the ones in Melbourne. Pools are gross as well.

Ocean Grove beach is pretty good. Reminds me of Surfers Paradise beaches.
