Ocean Grove beach is pretty good. Reminds me of Surfers Paradise beaches.

Just google image'd it. Looks okay for a south east beach, but that grey sand is off putting. The again, my hometown has some of the best beaches you will ever find: And I'm certainly not parochial about that place. My standards are pretty high because of that. Even Perth's beaches are pretty meh, especially the more popular ones. South Beach in Freo is alright, though.
