Okay, here's a question for the guys who play footy.

I was just putting my washing back and remembered, with footy season coming up, about my perennial issues with footy socks.

I'm socks down. But does anyone else get pissed off when you push them down? Sometimes they're baggy and too stacked, other times they look too high still. These are the #bigissues and I was wondering if anyone else has it?

I wear them down in matches. I usually just wear ankle socks to training though.

That's all I have, and footy socks of course. Well they're not really ankle socks, they're like and inch or two above my ankle. I just can't stand wearing socks that go any higher.

Are you talking about your school footy team? Long sleeves or just a normal shirt?

I played in long sleeves every year of my career until last year. Rd 2 i changed to short sleeve.
I went on & kicked 16 goals in 3 games in short. Went back to long sleeve lasted 2 games got booted off the side & retired. Im superstitious so i do think the short sleeves cost me haha.

Edit i am playing this year but no on saturdays. & my home ground is a former vfl ground!

I wear Globe socks, black or white, they're like a good elasticity and they're neither too high or too low, like mid-range and you don't have to push them down or anything.

And I do realise how camp this all sounds.

yeah school footy team, long sleeves.

Short sleeves have always been standard in Queensland. When I lived in Victoria, I opted for teh long sleeves.

Oh, and I wear my socks Shaun Higgins style, because I'm just det fuarking inday.
