Adelaide seems atrocious in the outer suburbs, but the middle of the city seems pretty cool. Nice 'n leafy. Not like these Victorians and their idea of "leafy." No idea, these lot.

That is very accurate... the area around the city is an absolute shithole... although West Lakes and into the hills are pretty nice... Glenelg, where I'm staying, is nice too despite smelling like celery.

What beach is it where the planes land almost directly over it in Adelaide? Also right near a Big 4 holiday park too.

I stayed there about 5 years ago and liked it.

This is what I've heard, and Google maps seemed the same. West Lakes looks like a boring, cookie-cutter, cream-and-brick house 'burb. Plenty, nay too many, of those in every city.

$2 so they could buy chicken treat.
