Here is something interesting. I just noticed while watching the NRL (Bulldogs vs Sea Eagles) that all onfield sponsor logos are computer generated (only reason I picked it up is that they don't appear during replays or close ups). The only logo painted on the field is the Premiership logo.

I think it's the first time it has been done, at least the first time I have noticed it. 2 weeks ago when I was at the Tigers game they were all painted on. Perhaps it has something to do with being at ANZ Stadium. I will wait and see what it is like in the second game (Titans vs Broncos) when it is on.

Nope, exactly the same in the second game, at least it saves the ground staff painting tons of logos.
