Pretty much this. Last year my mates and I pitched our tent every night at a different place in the Dunsborough/Busso area and lived off fish 'n' chips & Coronas. Was a pretty epic week

Is schoolies all that it's cracked up to be? I finish year 12 at the end of this year and I'm still not sure whether to go, or work through summer and save up for a car.

I personally found it very enjoyable, a week of mostly drunken shenanigans and a hookup or two. With $2k, you probably won't need to sleep in a tent illegally pitched on a beachfront like I did either. It depends on what kind of person you are really. If you're the kind who doesn't mind making an arse of yourself around other people doing similar activities, then it's probably right up your alley

I agree. There's not that much point unless you're over 18 (I wasn't...just). Its mainly just partying, drinking and teen dramas

I was a month away from turning 18. Finishing school means being able to sleep on till 1pm on weekdays, pissing off your friends that are still in school. And now when in uni, hating all the school kids as they roam around the shopping centre as they please.

Relax, maaaan. They're really not as important as they're made out to be. However, still study for them. A certain idiot with a Cyanide & Happiness avatar didn't and was rejected from uni
