Kardinia international college with the family for my old man competing in judo at the Australian Masters Games
He won 2 silvers. Glad I brought a footy and soccerball, free posts and goals with nets outside the building
Then had a bite outside the Cattery and saw some boxing inside one of those massive gazebos on St marys footy ground, I reckon part of the Masters games

Cheers! My primary school soccer team was BEAST! I remember a 13-0 win at home on our really shitty ground. Rolled my ankle once just walking through it.
But we'd always lose to Epping and never make the top 2 and you needed to finish 1st or 2nd to play the granny.
My school was shitty. Had to kick at 3 wooden logs painted white for goal posts with those crappy brandless footys for 7 years, cramped assembly room, shit teachers.
As soon as I finished there, everything gets updated...

I didn't go, but I was around the Alberton/Cheltenham area and when I drove back home it was hectic. I didn't realise that it was on and I didn't understand why there was so much traffic.

Bon Jovi performs there later this year.
AAMI's naming rights contract lasts till the end of 2015, and the Crows and SANLF Umpires will continue to train there.
In a few years they'll slowly remove bits and pieces and re-develop the precinct into housing and some other bits and pieces.
Eventually it'll be a bit of a VFL Park kind of place.

Port will continue training at Alberton Oval, PAFC's traditional home ground and the venue where the Magpies play in the SANFL.

I'm a Sydneysider and have known for ages (since the original announcement). It has been mentioned on the news here, during game broadcasts, and even during other broadcast sporting events when they have been played in Adelaide. Not to mention it was all over sporting websites that have AFL related stories.

I believe it was announced last year. With the redevelopment of Adelaide Oval, Port and the Crows were moving to Adelaide Oval as it was closer to the city. Also, if Australia won the right to the FIFA World Cup, they'd get funding for Adelaide Oval's redevelopment
