They should do 4 games per weekend. Friday Night, Sat Afternoon, Sat Night, Sunday for like 14 rounds or whatever it works out so that you've played every team twice (home and away).

Agreed, but the Ryobi Cup or whatever it's called now is too short.

I also agree, too much emphasis is being put into money and not enough delivering Australian teams that will win games in all formats.

I agree that Twenty20 gets kids into the game but a successful Australian team will make people most interested in cricket.

Do any of you jive turkeys use inkscape?

I always assumed it cost something so never bothered to do the research, so i've been doing all my vector stuff on Photoshop.

Is inkscape good?

I'm a bit stuck now because I can't find a way to export my photoshop paths to inkscape. Damn you internet this is exactly the sort of thing that should be easy to do

In my experience, Inkscape doesn't seem to work well with Adobe stuff. It's vector design, so Photoshop stuff won't work well with it regardless, but Illustrator files don't tend to work either. PDFs sometimes work. If you can find SVG files, they tend to work perfectly (Wikipedia is a pretty good source for SVG logos etc).

It basically means I have to start from scratch with everything i've done in photoshop.

The biggest advantage i've found so far is how well it does with outlines/strokes etc. It makes that sort of thing 1000 times easier.

I really wish I could afford illustrator
