If Carlton are like St Kilda, the first 5 or so rows of level 3 is members' reserved seating, but the rest is pick your own seat.

Etihad is pretty much open to everyone with a ticket. I went to a South Africa ODI there ages ago. The view is really good from the top, especially with the roof closed

Flying in? Just bear in mind that the GP is on tonight and the flights to Melbourne may be quite expensive as a result.

At least internationally the prices have skyrocketed, not sure about domestic. Might pay to have a look at flights first if you haven't already.
