I just got home from the North vs Richmond game. Greater Gattsby, what the hell is up with those "make some noise" and "here comes the boom" things after every North goal?

Make some noise is to make the crowd seem awesome when it's on tv.

Here comes the boom. Well. It's played every time "boomer" Harvey kicks a goal, and everyone joins in at the boom.

Tad embarrassing like the John Farnham your the voice...

Oh, that explains the gap between the natural cheering for goal ending and the screen thing happening.

It felt like a pretty big crowd for a Sunday night, though. Props to North on that.
