We didn't beat Geelong in the flags though. We lost to them 11 times in a row. That's 5 years of torture.

I would take the redemption of beating them on the big stage on the way to a flag personally. You always had the retort "Yeah the 2008 GF tho lol" and what could any of em say? "We beat you in some home and away games!".

For a middle to late teenager, the term "winning when it counts" was a favourite of mine, but that doesn't bode to well when it's about 7 on 1.
