Can someone explain to me why the little tags on the bottom front left of guernseys showing the AFL logo, a manufacturer logo and a club logo (usually) still exist or even existed at all in the first place?

I've always assumed the patch is to show that it's official, NBA jerseys have the same sort of thing I think.

Basically yes, we copied other competitions who already did it.
As far as what it represents, it was supposed to show the difference, from the outside, between a club issue jumper and a store bought replica.
However it's been watered down to simply another ad for the manufacturers, and now it doesn't represent anything.

I got nominated, but because I'm sick, I can do it in a week while I'm in Greece, so 'cold water' shouldn't affect me in 40-degree heat.
