Uh...

In other news, I've purchased (yes, purchased, not borrowed from the library) The Great Gattsby.

It'll be good to read such a piece of fiction outside of an educational context; without having to think too hard about stylistic features, etc.

I smashed out all of Game of Thrones in about two weeks. Coincidentally, my uni marks started going downhill at the same time.

I've started watching Boardwalk Empire, which is pretty quality. Especially with Steve Buscemi.

That's how I like to watch shows. Wait till it ends then smash it.

I'm usually like that unless I REALLY want to watch it. Then I join the group of week by week waiting.

I'm always really slow on TV shows. I only caught up to Breaking Bad the week of the last episode. So I'm sure that watching the next season of GoT week by week will probably break me, because I'm used to being able to watch it in 6 hour blocks.

The only big US show I've watched "as it happened" in the last few years is Orange Is The New Black, but that's Netflix so a whole season is released at a time anyway.

Seinfield> Anything else. Though TBBT is a close second.
I've never really got into Game of thrones, is it really that good?
 
I've actually never watched any of these shows that everyone goes on about (except Seinfeld) because I'd rather do something else. Sitting inside watching TV just depresses me.

I can see your point there. They do dribble alot of crap on it. But usually it's not as bad as you say.

What I meant was, some people get a kick out of repeating the same joke. For what its worth, I used to rather like the show, but that died a firey death when my brother began to watch it every night. I can't stand the theme song anymore, Makes me whince. The show itself is okay, but I don't care much for it anymore.

Hahah I'm the exact same, only shows I watch are Simpsons / Seinfeld / Inbetweeners

Never been into the cult TV shows and binge watching, I just don't really have the attention span to watch more than an episode at a time
