I have a BBL question (I can feel the groans already).

Are the commentators actually at the ground? Or are they in a studio?

Looking at the backdrop of the commentary box for each game, I'd say the commentators are at a studio, but Im not 100% sure.

They are at the ground, but they are facing the cricket. During the channel 9 commentary, the ground is the background, and they turn around to face the cricket while the match is on.

I remember when spotless stadium (skoda stadium back then) was first being built and the designs where out, it showed GWS playing Sydney on the new ground with swans in clash, it's funny that GWS didn't play swans til last year and both wore their home lol

That is nowhere near why. I'm not saying Perth aren't better than Victory, I'm saying it's a stupid call to make in regards to kit selection.
