It's actually quite hit and miss which disappoints me.
It is hit and miss, but it's got a few sublime tracks and still works as an album, for mine. Turner is a brilliant songwriter.

QOTSA's latest album is pretty good. I love sifting through all their old stuff and finding acoustic versions.

i don't follow him in anything other than BB, but i'll check out some of his stand up pretty soon
I pretty much only know him via Workaholics, in this solitary scene

Arabella is the soundtack to my 2013/14 summer.

I recently picked up Songs For The Deaf at JB Hi-Fi which is one of my favourite albums ever. Josh Homme is some artist, but I love his previous band Kyuss far more than QOTSA, as John Garcia's vocals are something to behold and the heavy vibe is so befitting to 40 degree heat. I reckon I'll spin this album all day tomorrow.

My music tastes are forever changing. I used to listen to a lot of pop (God what was I doing), I then moved onto hard style (God what was I doing), then house (God what was I doing) and dance (God what was I doing) for about 3 years, then I got into rap (Kanye, jay z, eminem, hilltop hoods, (illy (God what was I doing)) in the last year I've just been listening to whatever is on the radio, and in the last few weeks I've been listening to some traditional rock and roll dadrock (ACDC, Paul Kelly ect.)(God what was I doing).

And yes, I expect to cop a lot for listening to hardstyle, trance and dance

Greater Gattsby also try out Kasabian..., see what you think..

You'll probably know at least 2 or 3 of their songs from either FIFA or the EPL matches last season.. (if you watched matches?)

Oh, and I was being serious with An@l campaigner by the way..

RU Mine?, I Want It All, No. 1 Party Anthem and I Wanna Be Yours are good tracks. Mad Sounds is pretty chilled too, even if it feels a bit fragmented.

Have actually just been looking into Kyuss. Might give Sky Valley another spin tomorrow while trying to get some writing done.

You're right, though. Perfect for this weather.

Ima drop some realest UK hip hop on yall straight up

Middle two were the best 9/10.

First and last were a bit meh 5/10

Same here.

My personal favourite song of theirs is Two Turds and a Golf Ball. Absolutely genius.
Surely "When I Think of True Punk Rock Bands, I Think of Nirvana and the Melvins" gets the nomination.

Or, alternatively, any track from this post-ironic gay album

Seems like I still need to look through a few more songs of theirs.

Baxter is an acquired taste, Mr Key (last) is very gritty. FYI every artist in that post is in the third link.

I watched Jimmy in 'Comedians In Cars Getting Coffee' with Jerry Seinfeld the other day. Jimmy is phenomenal, an absolute natural.

Fallon sucks.

Currently watch Fresh Prince, it's funny as.

As for good tv shows:
Suits
Game of Thrones
Vikings
TBBT
Brooklyn Nine-Nine
Modern Family

Dylan8 I don't know how you do it, but you're the one guy on this thread that makes me really admire you within a couple posts. I can be sitting here agreeing with something you've said, I'll scroll down the page and BAM, you'll say something and make me loathe whatever you're saying. To the point where I'm like "skip past this guys post, he's a dropkick". Then the process repeats again. Really weird.

Like for instance. In the past couple pages, some things I agreed with that you said, include the TV shows you suggested. IASIP is a ****ing great show, so is Black Books. You suggest some good music and shit, make some valid points, then you make the statement " Foo Fighters are shit and blah blah blah" and I'm all like "awh **** this guy" and won't read anymore of your posts.

Not a criticism, but an observation. I find it really odd that I react to your posts.

I remember when spotless stadium (skoda stadium back then) was first being built and the designs where out, it showed GWS playing Sydney on the new ground with swans in clash, it's funny that GWS didn't play swans til last year and both wore their home lol
You know that Syedney and GWS have played each other about two times a year since we joined? It's called "The Battle of the Bridge". Everytime neither team wears their clash (stupid idea I reckon).

My point was that the battle of the bridge has only been played once at Spotless Stadium and yes it is stupid clash would suit the teams way better!

How come this thread only talks about things that aren't soccer or cricket at flipping 2am?

If you're looking for music to suit the weather, though, The Drums' new album was pretty much made for hazy as campaigners' tears days like today
