Honestly don't bother. If that's all you can get then that's fine, but they're already so outdated and Apple are ceasing production of them this year (if they haven't already?) They're slow as shit.

where you a previous iphone user before that? cause how long did it take you to get used to the power button on the side?
Having gone from a Nexus S to a shitty HTC with the power button on the top (my Nexus went through the washing machine) and finally to a Moto G, I can tell you that having it on the side is a far better design decision.

It's something that takes like 2 minutes to get used to but it's a lot better.

iphone 4S is to outdated for 2015 mate you wont get very far trying to download apps cause a lot are starting to require newer software and devices

Plus, they'll stop updating the OS on the iPhone 4S from this year.
I'm only using it for the phone so I should be alright with it. Might get a couple of apps but not many really.

If you can, get a cheap Samsung or HTC or other android phone.

Seriously, they have the exact same features and functions as an iphone but can do even more. You won't regret it.

But, that said, you can't go wrong with an iphone, really. Nothing wrong with them, they're just kinda limited.

Moto G (2nd gen) at 260~ bucks is pretty much the best cheap-mid range phone on the market

I've got a iPhone 5s. I understand android is better in many places, but I like the simplicity of iTunes and the App Store and the fact that I can have my phone and iPad talking to each other at uni. It helps quite a lot. Also, if rather not have to convert everything over to the new device if I got an android

Specs:
Apple < Andriod
Android seem to be one step ahead of Apple in this area. Better camera, different device sizes

OS:
Apple > Andriod
iOS in so much simpler to use than whatever food Andriod are now trying to rip off. It's easier to access the menus and doesn't have the need to create useless parts to it's OS.

You can do the same thing on androids, dude.

I used to have an iPhone/iPad combo but I lost my phone and bought an android. best thing I ever did.

That's not true. You can change the OS on an android to be exactly the same as an iphone if you want.

Quicktime is optional, I can understand that iTunes is annoy because you have to sync all your music from the one device, and you can't do it from several. But I have started listening to my music from other Apps that you can get from the App Store.

I've always found the simplicity of iOS frustrating, more than anything. I understand that it's a little bit easier if you have more than one Apple device, but seeing as I've always preferred Windows and don't care for iPads/tablets in general, the more personalised (and significantly less restrictive) Android experience is what I've gone for.

I've got an HTC One, by the way.
