Here's a question for you all. What's the hockey (field hockey, not ice) culture like in other states? It's not that big here in NSW, but it has its moments. When I visit family in Victoria, there seems to be a fair few clubs around.

My former Spanish teacher played field hockey for Australia in the Olympics.

And, while we're at it, my former principal played Netball for Australia too. Not sure if he was as successful though.
