Ye Dyl I can understand the Window-sided opinions of those that know nothing else than PC; using it for programming/designing/running specific types of software.

I've used both for those reasons and I still prefer a PC. It feels a lot more comfortable I think.Ye Dyl I can understand the Window-sided opinions of those that know nothing else than PC; using it for programming/designing/running specific types of software.

Just hold control down and press the bottom right of the trackpad.PC definitely over Mac, I tend to use my keyboard shortcuts more than my mouse to navigate the screen, and this would go all out of sync if I were to change to Mac.
Also, last week I had trouble using a Mac for one of my subjects at uni. Really confusing without a right click button.

or go through system preferences and make it normal.Just hold control down and press the bottom right of the trackpad.
It took me the best part of a month to adapt to the Mac system, but it was so, so worth it.
Old one.were you using the newer mouse?
it's literally a trackpad above the mouse

Yeah, the inconsistency is just annoying. Do you use the tiles? It's really not that hard to navigate imo.

Once I get on to the desktop, I'm fine. But when I go to turn the computer off, my usual Start, Up, Enter doesn't work. And finding the bar on the right hand side of the screen is a b-word.It's really not that hard to navigate imo.
It's perfect for the surface pro tablet / laptop things, but not ideal for a PC without a touch screenI still don't understand the purpose of Windows 8 for a computer. I find it really hard to work with.
I thought I banned gifs
I know, when I found this one, my original thoughts were "perfect". Then when I saw what it actually was, I couldn't be bothered looking for another one. :|That's barely a gif!!
