that's what the majority of people say, without giving a definite reason.
I think personally the show has gotten to the point where it's humour is stale. CH9 are overpromoting it like its something it actually isn't, and for me personally, my humour has changed. I like things that are funny, but also clever or hidden, so you're looking for the joke and can properly appreciate it, rather then TBBT's approach of "Hey look, we made a joke here! Laugh!" then follows it up with a laugh track like people that are watching are going to miss the "joke".
it's just not funny.

Well I for one love the Big Bang Theory. I have all the characters in Bobbleheads apart from one. I gotta say though, the new episodes are better IMO.

I don't find a lot of animation funny, including Family Guy and Futurama; but heaps of people watch that.

I got two TBBT t-shirts, including the Bazinga! one. Also bought the Bazinga! t-shirt for my 8yo cousin who watches the show as well.

I have to put up with jokes revolving around The Simpsons and other shows I don't watch, and be welcoming towards them. But as soon as I bring up a joke about TBBT, I get told to **** off. I sorta don't see a fair balance in this.
Like a drunk man attempting a dot-to-dot puzzle, you keep missing the point. This isn't about other posters. This isn't about The Simpsons. This isn't even about TBBT. This is about continual shitposting outside of the one and only thread where it's acceptable, the RCT.

Sorry, I'm very defensive about TBBT.

I forgot my headphones for the bus so I'm going to see if I can finally do my #newsockfeel reviews.

As I said earlier, I've ended up buying three different types of socks in the last couple of weeks, and I'll cover them in order of goodness.

And, no, my old socks still haven't turned up and I'm still mystified by that.

I just found out that I lost a small piece of steel worth $80. I don't give a shit about your TV shows.

I need to know what this was.

Sorry, I'm very defensive about TBBT.

It's an okay show, but it's not really a show you need to go into bat for.

#newsockfeel sock 1: El Cheapos

The first lot of socks I bought were the cheapest black quarter length socks I could find at the shopping center where I park to get to uni. A 5 pack cost me $10, which equates to just $1 per sock.

These are basically those bog standard socks that your dad hoards. You know the ones, you borrowed them when you borrowed his suit for your year 9 formal. I wasn't expecting much, and I didn't get much. Lacking any real padding, these are basically just thin pieces of material sewn together. They do have a certain silkiness on first wear that's quite pleasing, but from experience these socks tend to dry out after a few washes.

With a lack of any cushioning, these socks end up being pretty uncomfortable by the end of the day, no matter how new. Stormy mentioned that the great thing about new socks is that throughout the day you can wiggle your toes and enjoy the comfort, however these socks are so thin that you can't get that feeling at all. If you slide your foot around you get a bit of the silkiness, but thats it.

Overall sock comfort: 2/10

Final thoughts: socks made to serve a purpose without any enjoyment.

My guitar's whammy bar. They're usually about $5 but I got a very specialized one. I didn't even lose the part that makes it so expensive but I'll probably have to replace the whole thing!

#newsockfeel sock 2: Bonds

I'm sure that 9/10 people reading this right now have worn Bonds socks at some point in their life. I see these as a good yard stick for other socks, as they're the level of sock that I strive for. Once again, I went for the black quarter length variety.

Unlike the previous sock, these have a decent amount of cushioning around the foot. They have a far more natural feel to them, due to the greater amount of cotton in them. These socks basically feel like home.

These are socks that you can really dig your toes into to enjoy the softness. On first wear, the cushioned feeling remains all day, and from previous experience the degradation of that feeling won't be anything too drastic.

As I type this, I'm happy with the knowledge that I have another 4 pairs of new Bonds socks to enjoy over the next week.

Overall sock comfort: 7/10

Final thoughts: the standard of the sock world, a soft comfort that just feels right.

#newsockfeel sock 3: Rio work socks

This was the real surprise packet of new sock experience. When buying the Bonds, I thought it was a good chance to stock up on some socks to wear to work. These were priced towards the very bottom of the price spectrum for work socks, but were supposedly reinforced for steel caps boots so I thought they were worth the gamble.

These socks are, basically, incredible. My old work socks are pieces of fluff in comparison. There's a decent pad of cushioning around the soul and the rest of the foot, but instead of being fluffy, it has a real firmness to it. You can feel the support that these socks are giving you. But with that firmness, there's also a softness that you can feel in your toes.

These socks made my work boots feel like higher end trainers. They remain highly comfortable and supportive throughout any shift, whether I'm behind a counter or running stock. These are what my sock dreams are made of.

Overall sock comfort: 9/10

Final thoughts: highly comfortable, highly supportive, the perfect sock for my work needs.

One of the often underrated aspects of new socks is the ways you can reuse the old ones. Sock puppets are probably an all-age appropriate use but personally I prefer to use them as seaman socks.

Like, when I'm on a boat. Totally. Yeah. That's definitely what I mean.

Can you give me a link or a photo so I know what i'm shopping for? I can order socks through work but they are just okay, maybe a 5 or 6/10

Man this is putting serious pressure on my sock reviewing ability. I'll get a photo up when I get home, pretty sure I still have the packaging.
