Just got a volunteer job with Essendon Football Club for the 2015 AFL season.
Comes with an Essendon jumper, match day uniform, special events, and Home ans Away Flex membership.

lol is that the one where the email said that essendon is recognised as one of the most successful and respected sports organisations in the country? binned that pretty fast.

<-- This guy would have done it.

He would have made no difference.

Australia basically managed to throw away their chance of a big score at the key moment with Finch, Smith and Maxwell all holing out as they'd gotten going, and we still made 330, and still won by 90 runs.

We smashed India off the park every time we played them this summer.

As per the pre-tournament predictions, this could only ever have been won by South Africa, Australia, or New Zealand if they had a really good run of form.

We had a definite chance at winning the game. And every Indian believed Dhoni could do it, except him. Yuvraj would have at least tried to to win, Dhoni just sat there and couldn't be bother trying to chase the runs downs.

He needed like 2 a ball with wickets falling around him.

It was a tall order on stick cricket at that point.

It was nine an over when he came in. A few overs of power hitting early would have helped the run rate dramatically. I was watching, waiting for Dhoni to start 'hitting out', but it never came about. It would have been better to seem him at least try, but he just didn't.

You're also dramatically underrating our bowling attack.

You're not alone, it happened all tournament with all the good teams. Batting lineups would make 360 against Scotland or with their "quicks" bowling 133km/h and dominate and everyone would wank on about how amazing they were.

It's a bit different when you're facing Starc and Johnson.

Only Starc, Johnson, and Hazlewood can restrict opposition batsmen, that's leaves 20 overs of bowling. These overs Dhoni had to attack.

The Indian bowling line-up is not up to International standard, imo, but that doesn't explain why Kohli only went for 7 off his over.

India were never any chance of beating Australia. Can't believe how short India's odds were before the game - Australia should've been $1.01. They haven't come close to beating Australia all summer but they've still been talked up. Such an overrated side.

What were the odds before the match? I never got to see much of it

That's 30 tight overs more than most teams have been able to bowl this WC.

In a world cup dominated by batting, our bowling lineup has been way too good

I want Italy and Germany in the next World Cup... or.....Greece!
Why?

Also, as the 2019 World Cup will only feature 10 teams, not 14; there is less opportunity for Associate sides to gain entrance. The first 8 will be the top 8 teams from from the Full members (currently: AUS, IND, RSA, NZ, SL, ENG, PAK, and WI). Bangladesh and Zimbabwe will probably have to fight it out against the top tier of Associate side for the last two spots. These are currently: Ireland, Afghanistan, Scotland, UAE, Hong Kong, PNG, The Netherlands, Namibia, Kenya, and Nepal.

Sorry.
