I don't really hate BT, he's just completely out of place at 7 with that team around him. When he was at Triple M the other callers actually played off his humour, instead of being embarrassed by it. On 7 he's the awkward uncle, on Triple M he was one of the boys.

Has Darcy always done play-by-play? He seemed very unnatural calling. I can't even think to whether he's done it in seasons past.

Darcy does play-by-play on Triple M. He did a one off match last year on 7 with Bruce. Was down in Tassie on a Sunday from memory.

Yeah, Darce isn't terrible at play-by-play on the radio. I didn't watch much of last night, and didn't pay too much attention to the commentary, but getting him away from hosting duties can only be a good thing.

Anyway ive been using dylan's template a lot lately, changing things around and adding stuff and I made a quick mockup of a future Chelsea third for my comp (which i want to go ahead) just wondering if theirs anything that needs working on, thanks

For the number just use the 8 from the shorts. It's a shape so it be alright.

Make the Nike and Chelsea logos smaller on the top, find a different font, probably the Premier League font if you're doing a PL team for numbers and name.
Match up the short and top numbers.
Curve the name a bit.
Even up the hoops and put them behind the clipping mask.

You know there's like 3 collars on the template too

You could have put it in the Non-AFL design thread or whatever it is.

Also, get rid of a gradient in the socks. I don't think many teams would have that due to difficulties in manufacturing.

also how do you curve letters?

If it's Photoshop (Im not sure what the equivalent is in Ai) click in the writing later so that its selected, click the text tool and move over to the button that has an A and a curved line underneath. Then select arc on the drop down menu and using the toggles, select how much of a curve you want. Just remember, if it were an A-league design, the names aren't curved

how do you put the font into illustrator, i tried adding it through program files but no luck

Install the font then use text tool.

Should just double click the font file and it will be installed

When you download the font file, go to the location where it saved, double click the font file and the font should open (pop up says "the quick brown fox jumped over the lazy dog" or something) and click install.

Search the name of the font. It won't be the preset font for ai (preset is Myriad Pro)
