Yeah about the Cannabis. But we used to smoke heaps - but even round here its hard to maintain a constant supply without having to buy it so that's a real issue. She would say that her seizures were made worse by having to cut back after we ran out, for example. Even if its just a couple of weeks at a time. Plus smoking (- edibles are fine if you want to spend the day unable to move I spose)... but these days there are ways around that.

Of course that's an issue directly attributable to a stupid law. But also ... she can't drive without official medication. Personally I think pot would be a better option, even for driving ... that could be bias but anti epilepsy drugs seriously fu** with people too.

Has she tried a non psychoactive cbd?

None of those acts attract a smidgeon of the media hype, and the resulting generic SJW political responses either.
So by your reasoning, if a suicide bomber killed 10 people, I should console myself that more people die in car accidents, medical mishaps, etc...

The tweet is tone deaf. Especially considering there were people who lost loved ones and the emotion is still raw.

No, you should acknowledge the amount of hype given to various scenarios in order to manipulate you in one way or another.

Well, I'll be sure to alert the media next time I run into someone with a runny nose and a fever. They can whip themselves up into a frenzy.

Honestly Snake, the way you cling to your arguments at times is bizarre.

Yep, spot-on ferbs, and I feel very strongly that cannabis should be legal anywhere in the world. It's an untapped gold mine when it comes to beneficial uses. And with so little side effects too, unlike some of the seizure meds your wife is on. And I know about those a bit too, cos I have an Aunt who's had 2 brain tumours removed, and they're brutal. She's not supposed to drive without them either, but she ditched them years ago because she just couldn't handle what they did to her.

The first dispensary that opened here in Canada sold out on less than 4 hours. Like, big surprise, Govt. dudes, way to be prepared. You people have NO idea - leave the growing of cannabis up to the folks who are already doing it and doing it well. They know what they're doing, but no, the govt shuts them down and tries to produce it themselves. And not only did they not come up with nearly enough to meet the demand, a lot of what they sold initially was full of mold. Really poorly handled it was in this country. But fortunately most of the pre-existing shops just ignored the govt and carried on selling anyways. Which I'm sure a great deal of people were thankful for! Haha, anyways, nobody really got too bent out of shape about it at any point. It was so prevalent here before legalisation that you really barely notice the difference. Business as usual - just legal now.

I hope Australia looks at legalising it. The sooner the better, for the sake of a lot of people, and especially your wife, and those in similar need.

Have you ever looked into the (proven) conspiracy about why cannabis was outlawed? Has nothing to do with people smoking it, there was some evil rich dude (a few of them actually) that stood to lose a fortune because post slavery, hemp was far more profitable because it was easier to farm and it was also just a so many more uses then cotton.

That’s somebullshit

Don't you mean psychotropic?

CBD is non psychotropic mate. It won't get you high.

Maybe I worded it wrong. You can get both 1:1 CBD:THC. That’ll **** you up. Cbd on its own is sweet.

Apparently cbd is good for anxiety, I’ve thought about trying it to replace some other stuff. My Psychiatrist isn’t comfortable because I can lose my shit if I smoke weed.

The tweet is tone deaf.
I actually disagree. Insofar as I think the tweet was probably quite deliberate, looking for some sort of response.

I think deGrasse Tyson has a handle on what he posts and that it'll provoke reaction.

Which is probably more in line with what I previously thought of him. In that he doesn't mind needling a bit at people.

Right wrong, tone deaf or not, I'd all but guarantee people went and checked out some of the stats he mentions, thus his tweet likely served its end to some extent.

CBD is psychoactive, in that it does have anti-psychotic properties, but you won't notice too much in the way of effects from the compound.

THC is the stuff that does the stoner work.

If you are having psychotic responses then give the stuff away immediately as you may be genetically predisposed to cannabis induced schizophrenia.

The drug is not for you. Find something else. I am deadly serious about this. Don't take it.

Compare that to counties that don’t have conceal carry laws...

Also that stand your ground law is for the tip. Listened to Brian Mosses tell a story recently about a delivery driver pointing a gun at his brother (2 y/o daughter in the back) because of some road rage stuff. The bloke with the gun was saying “don’t make me shoot you” he was unarmed with his daughter in the back and this bloke wanted to shoot him. The stand your ground law would’ve found the bloke with the gun wasn’t at fault because he felt ‘threatened’.

Terrible law.

Check out that Republican senator Matt Shae. Blokes trying to set up a Christian State that has identical ideologies as ISIS.

America is ****ed.

We use CBD quite a bit for anxiety in dogs (separation anxiety, noise phobias, age-related cognitive anxiety) and it's really helpful. If we don't see much response from CBD alone we often get people to try adding THC. Some dogs respond better when there's both.

I think the learning curve is still quite steep for the medical professions, but the only way to learn is to try it. When you look at the side effects of all the psychiatric pharmaceuticals out there, I really don't get why they'd be afraid to. Unless they just don't understand that it's not the same as THC, or they prefer to paint all cannabinoids with the same brush.

It sucks but you’re right. Id love to try some mushrooms but can’t for the same reason

It's not just about guns, it's the hatred that being pushed out into communities - blacks, Latinos, refugees, immigrants. American politicians of colour being told to "go back to where they came from" by the country's very own Commander in Chief. Texas shooter had a white supremacist manifesto. Trump has not helped things with his recent ramping up of racist rhetoric. The US has always operated from a place of fear and a perceived need to "defend". They had an American "crime prevention expert" on the news this morning and all he talked about was how the victims had no weapons to defend themselves. Ffs there is no enemy.

Thanks for regurgitating the narrative...

John Michael Posobiec III (/pəˈsoʊbɪk/ pə-SOH-bik; born December 14, 1985)[1] is an American alt-right[2][3][4] internet troll[5][6][7] and conspiracy theorist[8] best known for his pro-Donald Trumpcomments on Twitter. He has promoted fake news, including the debunked Pizzagate conspiracy theorythat high-ranking Democratic Party officials were involved in a child sex ring.[9] He has been retweeted by President Trump.[10] As of 2018, he was working as a correspondent for One America News Network, a conservative cable news television channel.[11]

Conspiracy theories, falsehoods, and unsubstantiated claims
Race relations
  • In September 2016, Posobiec praised Richard Spencer on Twitter as "indispensable". He later sought to distance himself from the white supremacist, deleting his supporting tweets and calling Spencer a "scumbag".[27]
  • In October 2016, Posobiec posted a tweet that included triple parentheses, an anti-semiticmeme.[28]
  • In May 2017, Posobiec hired neo-Nazi brothers Jeffrey and Edward Clark to help create a documentary about the murder of Seth Rich for The Rebel, a far-right Canada-based website. Jeffrey Clark was arrested by the FBI on gun charges after saying that the Jewish victims of the October 2018 Pittsburgh synagogue shooting"deserved exactly what happened to them and so much worse". Posobiec later said that he had never heard of Jeffrey Clark and had never made a documentary about Seth Rich, even though HuffPost published photographs of Posobiec and the Clarks working together.[29][30]
  • In August 2017, following a "Unite the Right" rallyin Charlottesville, Virginia that led to violent clashes between white nationalists and anti-protesters, Posobiec said that the rally had become "massive propaganda" for the left and that the mainstream media was "fanning the flames of this violence." He said that Trump should have disavowed Black Lives Matter. Posobiec later tweeted that he had consistently disavowed white nationalism and violence.[15] He also tweeted that he was "done with trolling" and that it was "time to do the right thing."[5]
  • He has repeatedly published posts containing the white supremacist code "1488", or the Fourteen Words, and is a supporter of the slogan.[31][32]

Republican senator Matt Shae,

Shea has been the focus of news articles related to angry outbursts at his legislative office, and a report claiming that he was disarmed by a commander while he served in Iraq due to anger management issues.[21]

Differences between Shea and Spokane County Sheriff Ozzie Knezovich resulted in Shea stating "the Southern Poverty Law Center — and the sheriff (Knezovich) that backs them — is the most dangerous organization in this country". Knezovich is a Republican, like Shea.[22]

Shea has frequently clashed with journalists, referring to reporters as "dirty, godless, hateful people" at an August 2018 gun-rights rally.[23] He refers to local newspapers as the "Socialist-Review" (Spokesman-Review) and the "Inslander" (Inlander).[24] Shea's contentious history with the press has attracted particular attention because he is one of eight state legislators on a Washington Legislature task force dealing with state public records laws and exemptions to them.[23]

"Biblical Basis for War" manifestoEdit
In late October 2018, Shea acknowledged that he had distributed a document described as a "four-page manifesto" titled Biblical Basis for War that listed strategies that a "Holy Army" could employ. The document, consisting of 14 sections divided into bullet points, had a section on "rules of war" that stated "make an offer of peace before declaring war", which within stated that the enemy must "surrender on terms" of no abortions, no same-sex marriage, no communism, "must obey Biblical law", then continued: "If they do not yield — kill all males". Shea acknowledged the document and claimed that it was a summary of "biblical sermons on war."[1][2][25] Spokane County Sheriff Knezovich alerted the FBI to the manifesto and claimed that the statements made in the manifesto are consistent with a racist, anti-Semitic, and white supremacist ideology known as Christian Identity, which seeks to establish a "white homeland" in the US northwest.[2][3]

Violent right-wing chat groupEdit
In April 2019, The Guardian published chat records from a right-wing chat group of four people that Shea participated in, where Shea used an alias of ‘True Warrior’ in Latin. Other members in the chat group discussed carrying out surveillance, intimidation and violent attacks on political enemies, including "Antifa" activists and "communists". Shea himself volunteered to conduct background checks on residents of Spokane, resulting in Shea naming three individuals. One of the chat group's members provided the records to The Guardian, while another confirmed the existence of the chats and acknowledged the discussion on conducting surveillance on "Antifa" people.[26]

I don't follow him. I posted it because he's done the hard part and shortened an hour long video into a small clip that highlights a valid point. Instead of attacking the person you should have saved yourself the hassle and just watched it. You might learn a thing or two. Also, instead of copying and pasting something and feeding the narrative, try to form your own opinions. Might make your opinion more credible in the future. Imagine a researcher reading 1 abstract about a double-blind study and pretending the conclusion of the abstract was gospel and the end of discussion...You should adopt a systematic review approach to forming your opinions.

Posobiec has said some good things and he has said some bad things (like most journalists). You could literally do that to EVERY journalist. Talking about pizzagate and taking it seriously just highlights how out of touch you are. Cernovich and a few others promoted it as a gag (similar to 4chan and their 'OK' sign experiment). Posobiec and Infowars ran with it because it discredited Hilary and both wanted Trump to win. It's high level trolling and even funnier when people still carry on about it. One thing that's interesting is part of all that is linked to Epstein. Alex Jones and co were conspiracy theorists for linking Clinton, Spacey and co to Epstein and the Lolita Express. Years on...here we are...:$

What he said about Charlottesville is correct. The media don't care. They just use it to attack Trump - as evidenced by them taking Trump's words about the incident out of context and not telling the whole story. As evidenced by Christchurch and every other evident since 2016. The media are the ones responsible for a lot of this mess and often the Posobiec and Cernovich types highlight this. They play games with the media and highlight their hypocrisy. This angers sections of the media = them becoming the targets (as evidenced by the hit piece you've copied and pasted, and some of the drama Cernovich has been involved with).

No. I've seen the video. Written down the quote. Goggled it and his twitter account popped up.

How cliche' :drunk:. As if I'm going to lose sleep over the little jabs when your ilk things people like Ben Shapiro and Jordan Peterson are alt right :$

The way the trends are heading if you aren't pro gender replacement therapy for 3-year-olds then you'll probably be called an alt-right nazi in the future :drunk:

Don’t go down the straw man route, you’re better then that. Tbh I’ve never listened to anything Shapiro has put out. Just don’t like the look of him. Don’t mind Peterson to an extent.

You’re thoughts on Matt Shae? I know you’re a staunch republican so I’m curious what you think of him?

I mean, put aside the spousal abuse and pulling a gun at over a traffic dispute?

Also find it hilarious that Trumps biggest supporters are the Evangelicals, not because they like him but because they believe he’ll bring on the apocalypse. Merica yo

No straw man at all. You just trotted out the cliche "right win" rhetoric as per usual. I'm not a republican. I agree with points from the left (pro LGBTQ and abortion), the middle, and right. It's pretty simple making up your own mind instead of being pigeonholed to one side.

I don't know anything about Shea in all honesty. I haven't heard a thing about him. I'll reserve judgment until I come across anything of interest. I'm certainly not going to base my opinion of him on a 5-min read :$

The only real republicans I know about is Ted Cruz and Dan Crenshaw. Cruz because of the lead up to 2016 and Crenshaw from the 2018 midterms. I like Crenshaw and I think he would make a good president (way too early yet but he acts the part). Big reason for following them is their take on censorship in the US.

Maybe I read you wrong. I used to just think you liked taking the piss...well actually I still think that to a degree. Lately I’ve noticed you’re always having a crack a the left and cheering on the right. Like the way you described the Democrats debates and your love of Trump and other right leaning figures. I just wanted to bust your onions because I thought you were into that whole right wing crap.

I’ve said it a dozen times, I can’t stand this left V right stuff. The far left are just as bonkers as the far right.

The reason the right/republicans are pro life is only to win the Evangelical vote. (There’s actually a bit of history regarding that, there was a council with the heavy hitters in the Evangelical community way back in the early 1900’s where they came to the conclusion that abortion was ok...wasn’t till it became political that they changed their stance)

I just can’t stand politicians at all tbh. Look at Pelosi. That bitch didn’t get rich without being bought.

As for Shae, that bloke is insane. He’s literally preparing for some sort of war against the government (ironic)
