There was no election... Clinton would’ve been doing the same thing.

I get the sense the US will lose a lot of power over the next decade.

Imagine Russia, Iran and China successfully undermining the Saudi regime by 2027.

i think anyone holding onto oil assets in the next 15 years might just be poison chalice. Lithium is where it’s at for industry.

although I can’t see an Abraham’s tank running on a few D-Cells.

I'll take all the oil assets you wanna give me.:thumbsu:

Militaries need diesel not d cells.

Especially the US military.

They use a stupid amount of fuel.

I haven’t watched it yet but you guys might enjoy..

just tell me if they get to the part when Warren Flood used the Russian template. To create this crazy hysteria.

We’re also assuming tanks will play a role in any armed combat going forward. They might just become 100 tonne target practice.

Eventually. Right now tho the worlds militaries rely on fossil fuels.

And it's not just tanks planes or carrier groups. It's rail gun platforms, drone swarm launchers, transport for basic logistics etc etc

None of the power grids can support everything going to battery. Don’t think we’ll see it in our lifetime.

Yeah nah.

On-site generation combined with a big enough battery bank taking into consideration improvements to 4 hour release in conjunction with a gas co-gen unit eliminates any requirement to be grid connected.

We are already installing these type of set-ups to eliminate TLF and DLF and stupidly ridiculous peak demand charges in far away places.

What’s left wing about climate change?

You DON'T acknowledge that it has been co-opted by left wing politics as a vessel to attack opposition in order to gain power?

Seriously?

Nope. I think people that don’t want to change the status quo are trying to make it political. It’s not left or right, it just is. It’s science mate.

Didn’t know that. I heard someone recently complaining that the council won’t allow him to install the amount of car charges (can’t remember what he called them) in the apartment building he’s constructing because the grid can’t give him enough power.

Energy is kinda like water in that if you need more energy you typically need a bigger hose!

He needs to call his distribution network (not retailer) and upgrade his connection.

I wouldn't bet on it.
